Eligibility: Candidate should have Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
OR
Appeared for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

Note:

1. For the academic year 2010-11, both the Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared/appearing for the CAT 2009 are considered eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria mentioned in the Information Brochure. Such candidates are also required to procure the Information Brochure along with Application kit and submit & confirm the Online Application form.
2. For admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM course, the candidate is required to score minimum 30 marks in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010. Candidates seeking admission on the basis of CAT 2009 are required to obtain minimum equivalent score.

How To Apply: Availability of Information Brochure along with Application Kit: The Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai continues the system of online receipt of application form for MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM for the year 2010-11.
• Information brochure along with the Application Kit for the aspiring candidates will be available at the identified post offices mentioned below during contact hours from 18/01/2010 to 02/02/2010 (excluding Public Holidays) against the payment of the application form processing fees.
• It is mandatory to procure the information brochure and go through it carefully. The CET that will be conducted in pursuance of this advertisement is subject to the rules and regulations set out in this information brochure. The further admission process, especially in respect of Private Unaided Institutes will be in terms of the clarification read with aforesaid rules and regulations.
• Submission of the application form in response to this advertisement will amount to accepting the afore said rules & regulations unequivocally by the applicant and upon such submission it will be presumed that the applicant agrees and accepts these rules & regulations as legal, valid and  correct. It will not be open for any applicant, once having submitted the application form to question the legality, validity and correctness of these rules & regulations.
• The Centralized Admission Process will consist of first 3 rounds of allotment and the fourth (i.e. last) round of counseling. Candidates are instructed to carefully read the Annexure-I of the Information Brochure to understand the eligibility criteria for participating in each round.
• NRI candidates are eligible to apply for admission against Institute level seats in Private Unaided Management Institutes. Please refer information Brochure for details.

Submission and Confirmation of Online Application Form:
• Aspiring candidates will be able to submit and confirm the Online Application form through the web site www.dte.org.in/mba through any computer connected to Internet.
• For the submission and confirmation of the online Application Form the candidates are required to use the Application ID and Password provided in the Application Kit. Candidates are also required to upload his/her photo and signature as per the instructions given in the Application Kit. Candidates are advised to preserve the Application Kit carefully and not to disclose the Application ID & Password to others to avoid impersonation.
• In order to take the printout of the online submitted Application form and the printout of the Hall Ticket for the CET, it is mandatory for all the candidates to confirm the Online submitted

Application form and such applications only will be considered valid for further processing.
• Applications sent by Post/Courier etc. to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be done with the candidates.
• It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage scheduled in the month of May 2010.

ABOUT ASEE-2010
The Scholarships are available for all courses. For Post Graduate courses the value of scholarship is Rs. 1 lakh each (Rs. 48,000/ each in case of M.Sc. Chemistry) and for UG course, Rs. 72,000/ each . Students applying for management seats are not eligible for scholarship. Selection will be through a written test. Candidates, meeting the eligibility criteria, will be called for the written test held on 18th, April, 2010. Such successful candidates according to course and seats will be informed by post. If candidates secure same marks in the ASEE-2010, the selection will be based on their academic record. Written examination will be held in following cities namely Dehradun, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Hardoi (UP). Each candidate must indicate his/her preference for the centre in the application. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to attend the exam under any circumstances. The candidates appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply. The scholarship will be provided to the successful and eligible candidate after taking admission in the GCBMS Dehradun.

HOW TO APPLY
A. Application must be sent in the format for "Application Format ASEE-2010" which can be downloaded (Click here to Download Form) from our website http://www.gcbms.co.in or may be obtained from "Gayatri College of Biomedical science GMS Road, Ballupur Chowk, Dehradun-248001, UK, India."
B. Fill the application form very carefully. No column should be left blank. Write NA/NIL if no details are available. Do not attach copies of the certificates along with the application.
C. Two photographs duly signed by the applicant must be affixed on the space provided in the application format. Unsigned applications will be rejected (photograph as well as declaration).
D. Candidates should send application by speed post/ registered post.
E. If the application form is bought from the GCBMS office, no Demand Draft as exam fee is needed.
F. The application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.500/ (for general candidates) or Rs.400/ (for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) as entrance examination fee in favor of "Director, Gayatri College of Biomedical Science" payable at Dehradun should reach to the following address on or before 27/02/2010 through registered post/ speed post.

PRE MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (PMEE) 2010 [HIHT UNIVERSITY]

HIHT University invites application from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course offered by its Medical College (Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences) for 100 seats for the Academic Year -2010 – 2011.

Eligibility: Age: only those candidates, whose date of birth fall on or before 31" December, 1993 (minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2010). Minimum Qualification: The candidates must have passed the 10+2, i.e. I.S.C/intermediate Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. The Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 60% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least 50% (For SC/ST/ OBC candidates 40%) marks separately in each subject in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination and whose results are not yet available are also eligible to appear in the PMEE-2010.

Applications have been invited by the Dept of Futures Studies under University of Kerala for its Special Postgraduate Education Expansion Drive in IT (SPEED-IT) Scheme in Kerala for full-time research. 

 

The programme is offered under scholarship category and is meant for the year 2009-10. 

 

The subject is Technology Management. 

 

Those with not less than 55% marks in MTech in Technology Management are eligible to apply. 

 

Those with NET/MPhil and published research articles will get preference.  There is only one seat for the programme.  An amount of Rs 14000-18000 will be given as scholarship.

Eligibility:
1)UGTP (Undergraduate Technology Programs) ; The candidate should have passed (10+2) I 12th examination of a recognized Board in 2010 or 2009. (but not earlier) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or first class. For B Tech. Biotechnology and B.Pharmacy, candidates with Biology are also eligible.
2) UGM [Undergraduate Management Programs) : Pass in 10+2 Examination with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.

The filled-in application along with a DD for Rs.1,000/- (Rs. 600/- for female candidates). drawn in favour of GITAM UNIVERSITY, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, should be sent to the Director-Admissions, GITAM UNIVERSITY, Vlsakhapatnam-530 045. A.P., INDIA.

3) Obtain the application by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate's name with complete mailing address, accompanied by a DD for Rs 1.100/- (Rs. 700/- for female candidates) drawn in favour of GITAM UNIVERSITY payable at Visakhapatnam from any scheduled bank. Requests by post will be accepted only till 05 March 2010 The online lest will be of two hours duration.
