The Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai, has invited applications for admission to Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) for the session 2011-13.

Admission to the PGDM program is open to all graduates. Candidates pursuing final year degree can also apply.
Candidates are shortlisted on two criteria:

   i)  First Class in standards X, XII and in graduation
   ii) CAT 2010 / XAT 2011 / GMAT (taken in or after August 2008) scores [any one].

Application kits can be obtained from PGDM Admissions Office, Institute for Financial Management and Research, #24, Kothari Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600034 by paying Rs.1,200/- by DD favouring "Institute for Financial Management and Research" payable at Chennai.

Application kits are also available against payment of Rs.1,200/- at select centres of IMS /T.I.M.E /Career Launcher & Erudite Coaching Centres.

Applications have been invited by XLRI, Jamshedpur, for admission to full-time and part-time Fellow Programmes in Management of the Academic Year 2011-12.

Eligibility for admission to Full-Time FPM: A Master's degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the Bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification with at least 60 % marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent, OR

a professional qualification like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) OR

BE/B.Tech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and 2 years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply.

Eligibility for admission to Part-Time FPM:

Applicants for the Executive-FPM should
1) have an MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or equivalent or GMP/PGPX or One Year full-time residential programme in Management. Candidates from Premier B-Schools will be given preference.
2) be currently employed in a full-time job.
3) have at least 5 years of full-time executive/ managerial/ teaching /research experience as on December 31, 2010.

Candidates seeking admission to Full-time FPM are required to (1) apply online to take the XLRI Admissions Test (XAT) and (2) apply online to XLRI for the FPM through website link: http://acad.xlri.ac.in/admission
 
Instead of taking the XAT, FPM candidates can also submit GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC JRF (research) results taken during the year January 2009 and December 2010. Those who have done their PGP from XLRI, any IIM, MDI Gurgaon, FMS Delhi or XIM Bhubaneswar, with a CQPI of at least 6.00/8.00 or equivalent will also be exempted from appearing in the XAT.
