Applications are invited for University Non-Stipendiary Research Fellow (UNSRF) positions to register Ph.D programme in the School of Energy, Environment and Natural Resources. Candidates with intensive desire and aptitude to do in interdisciplinary research in the areas of Botany, Plant Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Zoology, Marine Biology, Chemistry and Biological Sciences, who are interested, may contact the Chairperson and Research Supervisor for further details, candidate will be selected based on a written test and interview, both to be held on the same day. Application form may be obtained from the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai – 625 021 after paying fees, the prescribed application can be received from the Research Section of the university. Directorate of Distance Education, University of North Bengal has invited applications for admission to the following distance courses of Academic Year 2015-16.

1) MASTER OF ARTS in: Bengali, English, Nepali, History, Political Science, Philosophy

2) MASTER OF SCIENCE in: Mathematics

Eligibility for Admission : Any graduate in the B.A./B.Sc. (Mathematics only) in Honours or General course (10 +2+3/10+1+3/11+3 pattern) and 2 years Degree course (10+2+2 pattern) with 1-year Bridge Course from any recognized University may seek admission in Part-I provided that the subject must have been studied at the graduation level as an elective one with at least 300 marks. The enrolled students shall be eligible to appear at the Part-I examination.

(i) The Prospectus containing the Application Form is available at the DDE (Directorate of Distance Education, University of North Bengal, Door-Siksha Bhawan, P.O. North Bengal University - 734013, Dist. Darjeeling) at a cost of Rs. 100/- only.

(ii) The Prospectus may be downloaded from the DDE website (www.ddenbu.in). In cases where the Prospectus & Application Form have been downloaded from the DDE website, the candidates shall have to enclose Rs. 100 as Bank Draft in favour of NBUDDE payable at Siliguri.

(iii) The Prospectus and Application Form may also be obtained by sending Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of NBUDDE payable at Siliguri to Directorate of Distance Education, NBU, along with selt-addressed stamped (Rs. 32/-) envelope (11 x 6). Last date of Submission of Application Form is 30-10-2015 with out late fee and 15-01-2016 with late fee.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION - M.D.(YOGA AND NATUROPATHY)

• A pass in BNYS Regular Degree course conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University / by Osmania University / by any other University recognized by UGC under regular stream (or) a pass in N.D. (OSM) under regular stream

• Should have successfully completed the Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (CRRI).

• Candidates who are undergoing CRRI shall complete the same before the date of Entrance Examination for M. D. (Yoga and Naturopathy) 2015-16 session. These candidates should enclose a certificate from the Head of the Institutions in which they are undergoing the CRRI to the effect that they will be completing the CRRI before the date of Entrance Examination, failing which their application will be rejected.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: The Entrance Examination for MD(Yoga and Naturopathy) will be conducted tentatively on 26-09-2015 at 09.30 a.m. in one session of 3 hours duration at the campus of Arignar Anna Govt. Hospital of Indian Medicine, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106.

(x) Two Self Addressed covers (23 x 10 cms) with postage stamps of Rs.40.00 (Rupees Forty only) each enclosed with the application for sending the Hall Ticket and Entrance Examination marks statement.
