Online Applications are invited by Association of Un-aided Sikh Minority Medical/ Dental Institutions (Punjab) Mehta Road, P.O Vallah,  Sri Amritsar – 143501 from eligible Untrimmed Sikh Candidates for admission to MD/MS/MDS courses under Sikh Minority & NRI Quota seats at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical/Dental Sciences and Research, Sri Amritsar respectively for the session 2014-15.

Results of AIPGMEE-2014 conducted by National Board of Examinations for admission to all India 50% Quota of MD/MS/Diploma seats shall be utilized for admission to MD/MS courses (Sikh Minority and NRI Quota Seats). For admission to MDS courses under Sikh Minority and NRI Quota seats, the result of similar competitive examination conducted by competitive examination conducted by competent authority (authorized by Govt. of India/Hon’ble Court) shall be utilized.

However, candidates applying for Sikh Minority Quota (Open Merit) will have to qualifiy “Sikh History and Religion” examination, which will be conducted by Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical/Dental Sciences and Research, Sri Amritsar itself on 30-12-2013 at 11:00 am in this institute’s premises.

Eligibility
Candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission to B.Pharm, the eligibility criteria is Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects and adequate proficiency in English. However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2014.

Students who obtain First Rank in any central or state level board exam in India held in the year 2014 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2014 score

Veterinary Council of India invites applications for All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2014 (AIPVT), which will be held on 10-05-2014, for filling up 15% of total number of seats in Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State) from Indian Nationals for admission to 1st year of 5yr B.V.Sc. & A.H. course for academic session 2014-2015.

Eligibility
(A)   Nationality: Candidates should be Indian Nationals except the State of Jammu & Kashmir.

 (B) Essential Qualifications: He/She has passed:-
(i)            The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Education Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
OR
(ii)           The Intermediate Science examination in science from a recognized University/Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English.

Minimum Marks: 50% marks for General Category in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistty Biology and English at 10+2/lntermediate Science Examination. Provided also that to be eligible for All India Pre-Veterinary Test the candidate must have passed the aforesaid subjects individually. For the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/the Scheduled Tribes or other special category (Other Backward Classes) of students as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for General Category.

 (C ) Age:- He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December, 2014. Candidates attaining seventeen years on 1* of January, 2015 or later will not be eligible to appear at the All India Pre-Veterinary Test.

AIPVT 2014 Application Form:
(A)          The Information Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained by post from Controller of Examination, Veterinary Council of India, ‘A’ Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi-110066, by sending a demand draft for Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 850/- for SC/ST category (including examination fee, processing and other charges) in favour of “Veterinary Council of India-Examination Fund” payable at New Delhi on any Scheduled Bank. While requesting for Information Bulletin and Application Form by post, the candidates should send:-

(i)            Demand Draft for Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 850/- for SC/ST category.
(ii)           Two plain paper slips with name and complete address (in CAPITAL LETTERS) with PIN-code.

(B)          The Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained by hand from the office of the following Registrars of State Veterinary Councils on payment of Rs. 1500/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST category through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Veterinary Council of India Examination Fund” payable at New Delhi on any Scheduled Bank:-

ICAR All India Entrance Exam 2014 for UG & PG admissions and SRF (PGS)

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites applications from Indian Nationals, in the prescribed format for ICAR’s AIEEA-UG-2014 and AIEEA-PG-2014 on 100% seats at ICAR-Deemed-to-be-Universities (Bachelor Degree at NDRI Karnal only while Master Degrees at IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE), and on 15% seats for Bachelor Degrees and 25% seats for Master Degrees at State Agricultural Universities : Central Agricultural University, Imphal : Central Universities with Agricultural Faculty (B.H.U., Viswa Bharati, Nagaland University and A.M.U. (for PG only) and the SHIATS, Allahabad for Academic Session 2014-15.

All India Competitive Examination for the Award of Senior Research Fellowship (SRF-PGS) to pursue Ph.D. Degree Programme in the field of Agriculture and Allied Sciences will also be conducted along with AIEEA-PG-2014.

Eligibility:
Age:
For AIEEA-UG-2014 (UG Examination): Between 17 to 23 years for General Category candidates as on 31st August 2014. (Must have been born between 01-09-1991 to 01-09- 1997). The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC (Physically Challenged) Categories would be relaxable by 5 years.

For AIEEA-PG-2014 (PG Examination) : Not less than 19 years as on 31st August, 2014. (Must not have been born after 01-09-1995).

For SRF (PGS)-2014 : Between 21 to 30 years for General Category candidates as on 13th April, 2014, the date of examination. The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PC/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer as per the Central List of OBC) Categories shall be relaxable by 5 years. For in-service candidates, the maximum age limit shall be 45 years in all cases as per the extant norms and guidelines.

Qualifying Examination:
For AIEEA-UG-2014: (Other than Veterinary Sciences): Must have passed and obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under General, UPS (Underprivileged State) and OBC Categories or 40% Marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PC categories in 10+2 examination or equivalent / Inter (Agriculture) with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCA/ PCH subject combinations.

For AIEEA-PG-2014:
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Sericulture, Dairy Technology, Forestry, Agri, Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science, Biotechnology, Basic and allied Sciences,etc. under 10+2+5 or 10+2+4 or 10+6 Years Degree Programmes. (Few seats are also available for candidates having Bachelor Degree with 10+2+3 year Degree Programme) with required OGPAof 6.60/10,3.25/5,2.60/4 for General, OBC and UPS Categories, whereas for SCI ST/PC Categories, the said requirement is 5.60/10, 2.75/5, 2.20/4 respectively.

For SRF (PGS)-2014:
The candidates must have passed Master’s Degree programme in the concerned discipline, securing Overall Grade Point Average of at least 6.50/10.00 scale, 2.60/4.00 scale for General and OBC Categories and 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 Scale for SC/ST/PC candidates respectively.

Application Forms:
For SRF(PGS), the applications will be submitted ONLINE only. Applications for AIEEA-UG and PG can be submitted both online and offline. For submitting application online, a provision has been kept to deposit the application fee either through (i) Bank Challan of Syndicate Bank or (ii) Credit/Debit Card using Payment Gateway of Syndicate Bank or (iii) NEFT.

Cost of Information Bulletin with Application Form:

AIEEA-UG-2014: Rs.500/- for General, OBC and UPS Categories and Rs.250/- for SC, ST and PC Categories.

AIEEA-PG-2014: Rs.600/- for General, OBC and UPS Categories and Rs.300/- for SC, ST and PC Categories.

SRF (PGS)-2014: Apply online at  www.icar.org.in

Fee of Rs. 1200/- for General OBC and Rs.600/- for SC/ST and PC Categories shall have to be deposited while submitting the application Online.

In addition, Rs.25/- per Bulletin would be charged in case of UG and PG as handling charges plus Service Tax, as applicable, in case of purchase against cash (from the Registrars of Ag. Univs specified branches of Syndicate Bank at specified places as given on ICAR website).

The forms can also be obtained from eight specified ICAR Institutions by depositing DD.

The last date for the receipt of Applications in the office of “Controller of Examinations (Education), Room No. 216, ICAR, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-ll, Pusa, New Delhi- 110012″ for UG, PG and SRF (PGS) examinations is 07th Feb,2014.
