Admission Procedure
Pre – Application forms are issued in the first week of November from the School office. Pre-Application forms are issued on payment of Rs.250. Students applying for Pre-Primary are called for an interactive session where they are observed by their Teachers, Educational Consultant and Director of Admissions. This helps us to know if the child is ready for school.
Once the application process is complete, they notify applicants of their decision as soon as possible.
Admissions to higher levels in Montessori is based only on the vacancy status.
A Day at TIPS, Montessori:
During the first days of your child’s schooling at TIPSE Montessori we encourage either of the parents to stay with the child (probably 3 to 4 days). They start the school a few days earlier for the newly enrolled but when their senior children come back the parents are not allowed into the environment.
Every morning, the children are welcomed at the gate by their teachers. The children start coming in from 9.15 onwards. The children enter the environment by greeting the adults with a ‘Namaste’ and removing their foot wears before entering the environment. Then they go about taking their mats, unrolling them and choosing the materials of their choice be it Exercises of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language or Arithmetic. Work starts from the minute the child walks into the environment. Around 11.30, the children generally break for Group Activity. Children have lunch around 12 Noon. In the afternoon session, Children have enrichment activities such as Music, Dance and Art and Craft.
