Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai-600116, has notified the admission to the MBBS Course at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Centre and BDS Course at Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital for 2009.
Admission to the courses will be on merit, based on the marks in an All India Level Common Entrance Examination to be held by the University from 10 am to 1 pm on 24.5.2009 (Sunday) at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkota and Pune. Allotment of courses will be done through counseling.
Persons belonging to any State in India are eligible to apply. Applicant should have HSC (+2) or equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Botany & Zoology, with marks prescribed by the respective statutory Councils. Those appearing for HSC (+2) Examination in March/April 2009 can also appear for the Entrance Examination.
Application and Prospectus will be issued from 23rd March, 2009 (Monday) to 24th April, 2009 (Friday). Prospectus and Application form can be obtained in person from the University Office on payment of Rs.1000/-. It can be obtained by Post from the Registrar, on requisition, with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1100/- drawn in favour of the 'Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai- 600 116'. Application and Prospectus can also be downloaded from www.srmc.edu and submitted as directed.
The last date for receipt of the completed applications in the University is 6th May, 2009 (Wednesday).
