EligibilityFor Higher Secondary students:
Candidates seeking an admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have complied with the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu. The norms would be the marks secured in the higher secondary board examinations and the marks obtained from competitive exams such as TNPCEE.

Diploma Holders:
Diploma Holders seeking an admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have the following minimum aggregate in the 5th & 6th semesters. For Diploma holders (Second year admission) there will be no qualifying age limit.

Candidates other than SC/ST:
Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than 2 appearances and only the first improvement will be considered. The age limit for the candidates other than SC/ST is 21 years at the time of admission (1st July of the respective academic year).
Foreign Students:
Foreign students seeking admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have passed the equivalent of the +2 examination, in their respective country. Anna University has to approve this examination and issue an eligibility certificate endorsing the same.


First year B.E / B.Tech Govt. Quota :2009-2010

Admission formalities (Govt.Quota) starts from 22 July 2009.
Time : 9 Am to 3 Pm (Monday - Friday)

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
I. The following originals must be submitted at the time of admission:
1. +2 / Inter / CBSE Mark Lists
2. Transfer Certificate
3. Conduct Certificate
4. Community Certificate (Permanent Community Card)
5. Allotment Order
6. Physical Fitness Certificate
7. X Std. Mark List


II. A set of attested Xerox copies of the above items and 3 passport size photograph must also be submitted during admission.

III. Three attested Xerox copies of +2 mark sheet and two attested copies of community card.

Note:
1. Please take enough copies of original documents before submission to college office.
2. Parents must accompany their wards for admission formalities.
3. Candidates who require Hostel accommodation must bring the passport size photograph of their parents and the guests visiting them in the hostel.
Office timings : 9 am to 12 noon & 1 pm to 3 pm on all working days.
