PG Diploma in Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing (PGDGISRS)
Eligibility: Post Graduation OR Graduation in Geography / Geology / Planning / Forestry / Environmental Sc./ Disaster Management / Agriculture (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.E., B. Tech) / Botany with computer Knowledge OR BE / B. Tech in CS / EC / I.T./Civil / MCA OR M.Sc. in C.S. / I.T. / E.C. Students who have appeared for final year exams are also eligible.
Fee for the Course is Rs 45,000/- payable in two installments (First installment Rs 25,000/- and Second Rs. 20,000/-) by Demand Draft in favour of CDAC, NOIDA payable at Noida. First installment of fee is to be deposited by the selected/waitlisted candidates on or before the specified date. The second installment is to be paid on the first working day of the programme i.e. commencement date of the programme. Course Fee is non transferable. For details on the refund of the course fees, Candidates should refer to the "Rules for Refund of Course Fees" section below.
How To Apply:
Registration for the course would be done ONLINE. It would open from 7th August 2009 till 21st August 2009. It is advised to read the General Instructions carefully before filling up the Application Form. The last date for submission of duly filled application forms is 21st August 2009 at address mentioned below. Payment for registration can be done through DD or NEFT (Non Electronic Fund Transfer) mode. If the mode is DD then a demand draft of Rs. 300/- in favour of CDAC, Noida payable at NOIDA has to be sent along-with attested photocopies of certificates/marksheets as examination fee else only documents are required to be sent.

The last date for sending the DD (if applicable) and attested photocopies of certificates/marksheets is 21st August 2009. There will be an Online Entrance Examination in 4 slots on 5th Sept. 2009 and 6th Sept. 2009 at C-DAC, B-30, Institutional Area, Sector – 62, NOIDA.
