Degree / Diploma Programs:
Applicants must meet all requirements of eligibility stipulated by Medical Council of India (MCI). They should be holders of recognized medical qualification as per Medical council India Act and must have completed or completing their internship by 30/04/2010.
MCI REGULATIONS:
Every student, selected for admission to a Post Graduate medical course in any of the medical institutions on acquiring MBBS Degree or an equivalent qualification thereto shall have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India, or any of the State Medical Council(s) or shall obtain the same within a period of one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which his/her admission shall stand cancelled. In the case of a foreign national, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college / institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies; Provided further, that temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subjected to the condition that such person is duly registered as medical practitioner in his own country from which the applicant has obtained his / her basic medical qualification and that his / her degree is recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority.
***As per the Post Graduate Regulation 2000 of Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test (SDUAHER– AIPGMET–2010) for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for candidates belong to General Category and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Rank list / Rank Card will be prepared only for those students who are eligible for admission to Post Graduate Courses as per the Medical Council of India Post Graduate Regulations.
**** The Academy reserves the right to approve the admission of the candidate after verifying all the original documents of the applicant. Mere possession of Rank and Rank card does not qualify an applicant for claming a seat.
Note:
Change of category status like SC, ST, OBC, will not be entertained subsequent to the submission of application form for SDUAHER–AIPGMET– 2010. The students are cautioned to state/provide correctly their category status while filling the application. The declaration / certificate is subject to verification. Any discrepancy or misrepresentation as to the category status while applying entails automatic
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- The Online application form has to be filled up properly and completely.
- Take a printout of the filled in Application form and Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof for Candidate's Copy and SDUAHER Copy..
- The Application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned in the checklist. The application can be submitted in person ( for which acknowledgement has to be obtained) or by post addressed to : The Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research,Tamaka, Kolar -563101, Karnataka, India on or before 5 P.M on 02.01.2010
- Multiple application forms filled and received from the same candidate causing confusion would be treated as deliberate and would result in disqualification.
- Ensure that the Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.1500/- (One Thousand Five hundred only) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar (payable at KOLAR) is enclosed.
- Multiple Demand Drafts in excess of the prescribed fee (Rs.1500/-) if sent, by the candidate will not be refunded.
Note: Send the Application in A4 size envelopes only. Do not fold the application form.

Checklist of documents to accompany the completed Application Form
- Demand Draft for Rs 1500/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, SDUAHER, Kolar payable at Kolar (mention your name and application number on the reverse side of Demand Draft).
- SDUAHER Copy of Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof in the prescribed form duly attested by the head of the institution where he/she has studied last or Gazetted officer from the place of residence of the candidate.
- Additional photograph (mention your name and application number on the reverse side of photograph)
- Attested Photocopy of
a) Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate.
b) Internship Completion Certificate / A certificate indicating the exact date of completion of internship from the Head of Institution.
c) Registration Certificate from MCI /State Medical Council(s) ( if not registered, an undertaking to be attached stating that the certificate will be made available within a month from the date of admission and it is binding as per MCI regulations)
d) Attempt Certificate(s)
e) All marks cards including that of failed year/semester if any (First Year/Semester to Final Year/Semester)
f) Certificate of MCI recognition status of M B B S qualification issued by the Head of Institutions.
g) Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificates issued by competent authority.

Applicants are directed to go through the instructions carefully before filling the application forms. Applicants are advised to send the filled in application forms well in advance with in the given time and date as per the calendar of events. Grievances if any on non receipt of application will not be entertained.
Note:
Please do note that the Photographs to be provided have to be identical, in Colour and clarity, and should not be more than 6 months old. Application with smudged/tampered or hazy photograph will not be accepted. Any application received not adhering to these specifications is liable to be rejected without any clarifications and no refund will be made of the application money. The decision of The Academy on this would be final and binding. For all future correspondence with SDUAHER– AIPGMET – 2010, applicants need to quote their Application Number and TAT Number (Test Admission Ticket) as applicable.
