Admission Criteria
•A Bachelor Degree e.g. BA, BSc, BE, BTech, BArch etc. with 50% and above
•Final year degree students awaiting results.
•Admission Procedure - Through an aptitude test & interview to held at GIS Institute.
•No entrance test for foreign or experienced candidate

 
Admission Procedure
Admission to the UNIGIS course is through and entrance test and personal interview.

Follow the simple three steps to get admissions in UNIGIS PG Diploma in Geo-Informatics

Step: 1.
•Submit the application form (can be downloaded or requested for)
•Submit necessary documents
•Submit application fee* of INR 5,000/- or Euro 650 (as the case may be)
Application form received without the application fee shall be rejected.

Please note 50% (INR 2500) of application fee shall be refunded if the candidate not selected in entrance exam.

Step: 2
Appear in the entrance test (dates for the test shall be notified to the candidates)

Admission to the full time course is through and entrance test and personal interview. The weightage are as,
1. Written Test-70%
2. Interview-20%
3. Academic Performance-10%

•The written test shall be through multiple choice questions in the English language, and shall test the applicant's abilities in geography, computer proficiency, logic & reasoning, English grammar & comprehension and general awareness.
•The duration for the written test will be 2hrs.
•The personal interview shall be conducted to evaluate the candidate's oral communication skills.

Step: 3

If found suitable, deposit the first installment of the fees.
Once the candidate has been found suitable for the course, (s)he shall be informed telephonically or through email and shall be given time to deposit the first installment of the fee. If the fee is not received within the stipulated time, the seat shall be given to the wait-listed candidate. Wait-listed candidates shall be informed, as and when the seat becomes available, which is a maximum of 20 days.
