ADMISSIONS 2010-2012
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) School of Public Health of National Institute of Epidemiology, (Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India), Chennai-600 077, has invited applications from Medical Graduates for admission to off campus courses, Master of Applied Epidemiology (Field Epidemiology Training Programme) and Master of Public Health (Health Services Development and Research) of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. Both courses will be from July 2010 to June 2012.
Admission is open to government sponsored and private candidates. Seventeen candidates will be admitted to the July 2010 academic session. Preference will be given to candidates sponsored by the Central/State Governments/Union Territories and Armed Forces.
Applicant should hold M.B.B.S Degree recognized by Medical Council of India, should be Working in public health, preferably in State or Central Government Department or in Medical institutions, sponsored on deputation for two year on full-time basis, should have three years experience in public health related activities, should be of maximum of 40 years of age as on 1.7.2010. Age may be relaxed up to 5 years for deserving candidates. Age will be relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules and also for ICMR candidates.
