MSME Tool Room Ahmedabad invites applications for admission to Regular Training Courses 2010

Centralized Admission Committee of IGTR, Ahmedabad under the supervision of Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State for Diploma in Tool & Die Making and Directorate of Employment & Training.

Gujarat State for Certificate course in Machinist - Tool Room invites applications from boys & girls in the prescribed form for admission into the following courses commencing from August - 2010.

Diploma in Tool & Die Making (DTM) - 4 Years 60 SEATS
Qualification: English from SSC Board (or) its equivalent with minimum of 60% (Aggregate) marks (50% marks for SC / ST / PH candidwith ates)
AGE: 15 - 19 Years as on 1/8/2010
Course Fees: Rs. 10,000/- per semester

Certificate Course in Machinist - Tool Room (CMT) 2 Years followed by one year paid internship 40 INTAKE
Qualification: 10th pass with Science, Maths & English from SSC Board (or) its equivalent with minimum of 50% (Aggregate) marks (40% marks for SC / ST / PH candidates)
AGE: 15 - 19 Years as on 1/8/2010
Course Fees: Rs. 7,500/- per semester

"Diploma in Tool & Die Making" is approved by AICTE, recognized by Technical Examination Board. Gujarat state & accredited by the Institution of Engineers (India).
"Certificate Course in Machinist - Tool Room" is approved by Directorate of Employment & Training.
Internship : On successful completion of Diploma in Tool & Die making, the Trainees may have to undergo One Year Internship, at the discretion, of the General Manager, IGTR, Ahmedabad.
Reservation for SC / ST / SEBC / PH categories will be applicable as per State Government norms.
The candidates born before 01st August, 1991 and after 31st July 1995 are not eligible.
Selection is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination (SSC Board) and IGTR Entrance Test.
Hostel Facilities : Limited hostel facilities for both boys & girls are available.
Medium of the instruction for the courses is English.
Free special coaching classes for preparation of entrance examination will be organized for SC / ST / PH eligible candidates from date 5th July to 15th July 2010. The application on prescribed Performa will be issued with prospectus.
Upward age relaxation of 3 years will be given for candidates belonging to SC / ST category.

Prescribed Application Form and prospectus with information on Entrance Test can be obtained from the Tool Room at the address mentioned above by sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 400/- for Diploma Course and Rs. 300/- for Certificate Course drawn in favour of "Indo German Tool Room, Ahmedabad" drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Ahmedabad or by cash in person.

Candidates desiring the Application Form by post may add Rs. 50/- to the above amount and enclose self addressed envelope of size 24 cm x 17 cm along with the application.

Important Dates :

Last date of issue and receipt of duly filled in application form by post or in person : 30th June, 2010.
MSME Tool Room Ahmedabad Entrance Exam : 18th July, 2010.  

MSME Tool Room Ahmedabad Counseling Date : 20nd July, 2010.
MSME Tool Room Ahmedabad Course Commencement : 06th August, 2010.
