M.Sc/MA/M.Phil and Ph.D Admissions 2010

 

Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu has invited applications for admission to M.Sc/MA/M.Phil and Ph.D courses for the Academic Year 2010-11. Department, courses and Eligibility  are as follows:

1. Department of Zoology: a) M.Sc (Zoology): Bachelor's degree in Zoology, b) M.Phil in Zoology: Master's degree in Zoology c) Ph.D in Zoology: Master's degree in Zoology,

2. Department of Economics: a) M.A (Economics): Bachelor's degree in Economics
b) M.Phil in Economics: Master's degree in Economics

3. Department of Chemistry:(Also at PG Extension Center) M.Sc (Chemistry): Bachelor's degree in Chemistry

4. Department of English:(At PG Extension Center) M.A (English): Bachelor's degree in English or any degree with English as one of the subject.

Application forms and instruction to candidates can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University on payment of Rs.200/- (For SC/ST Rs.100) for M.A/M.Sc/M.Phil courses and Rs.500/- for Ph.D course through Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, payable at Vellore. Application forms are also available in the website links:  http://www.tvuni.in/docs/mphilapp2010.pdf and http://www.tvuni.in/docs/pgdegreeapp2010.pdf  However, the printout of the downloaded format, duly filled-in has to be attached with the DD as mentioned above.

Completed applications with respect to MA/MSc.courses are to reach the office of Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, Fort Campus, Vellore - 632004 and those for M.Phil/Ph.D courses have to direct to the Head of concerned Departments of Thiruvalluvar University.

 

Last date for submission of application is 30-07-2010.
