Australian Education Fair 2011 at Hotel Taj Gateway in Kochi on February 26

An education fair, showcasing the courses, educational opportunities and shcolarships offered by various universities in Australia, will be held at Hotel Taj Gateway in Kochi on February 26.
  
Organised by the Australian Government, the Fair will showcase the quality, innovation and leadership of educational facilities in the country and the global career offered there, Peter Linford, Senior Trade & Investment  Commissioner - South Asia, Australian Trade Commission said in a release here.
  
The showcase will feature senior representatives and faculties from over 15 leading educational institutions from Australia, including the Curtin University, RMIT, Deakin University and University of Western Sydney, the release said.
  
"Australian education has a strong international reputation for excellence and quality education across universities, schools and vocational institutions. Students can be assured that their Australian education experience will give them a sound foundation and competitive edge to be successful in the modern world,"  he said.
  
According to figures, more than 80000 students from India have enrolled in Australia in 2010. Academic programmes on business management, information technology, engineering, science and hospitality are preferred coursework by Indian students in the higher education sector in Australia.
