SF vacant seats Announcement
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the vacant seats in the self-financing courses of the Berhampur University for the session 2011-12 as detailed below:
1. M.Sc. in Biotechnology
2. Master of Finance & Control
3. M.Sc. in Geophysics
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
(a) M. Sc. in Bio-Technology:
Any person who has passed the qualifying degree examination with a minimum of 45% of marks in the aggregate or in the honours subject for the candidates belonging to the general category (a minimum of 40% of marks in the aggregate or a minimum of 45% in the honours subjects for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes).
(b) M. Sc. in Geophysics:
Any person who has passed the qualifying degree examination with a minimum of 45 % of marks in aggregate or in honours (a minimum of 40% of marks in the aggregate or a minimum of 45% of marks in the honours subject for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes) is eligible for consideration of admission.
(c) M.F.C.
Any person who has passed the qualifying degree examination with a minimum of 50 % of marks in aggregate or in honours (a minimum of 45% of marks in the aggregate or in the honours subject for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes) is eligible for consideration of admission.
The candidates are required to visit the website (www.bamu.nic.in ) to download the application form. Candidates seeking admission into the above courses should enclose with the application form an Account Payee Bank Draft of Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four hundred) only towards processing-cum-application fee, drawn in favour of the Coordinator of the course to which admission is sought and payable at the State Bank of India, Bhanja Bihar (Code 2107), Berhampur – 760 007, Orissa.
The last date of submission of application form along with documents and requisite fees to the concerned Head of the Department/Course Coordinator is 30.08.2011.
