Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences under Karunya University, Coimbatore has invited applications for admission to the following courses of Year 2011:

1. Silver Jubilee PhD Fellowships (Engg. / Tech)

Number of Fellowships: 4

Fellowship Amount: Rs.18000/month and Rs.25000/annum as contingency

Duration of Fellowship: 2 years

Eligibility: Good academic record (preferably evidenced by good project works, publications, patents]

2. Silver Jubilee PhD Fellowships (Science)

Number of Fellowships: 2

Fellowship Amount: Rs. 8000/month and Rs.25000/annum as contingency

Duration of Fellowship: 2 years for MPhil / 3 years for MSc / MBA / MCA degrees

Eligibility.- Good academic record [preferably evidenced by good project works, publications, patents]

3. Silver Jubilee PDF Fellowships (all major disciplines)

Number of Fellowships: 2

Fellowship Amount: Rs. 20000/month and 730000/ annum contingency

Duration of Fellowship - 2 years

Eligibility: PhD in relevant discipline with good academic record (preferably evidenced by good project works, publications, patents]

4. PhD / MPhil Admissions-Even Semester-2011-12

Eligibility - PhD:

Master's Degree of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by this University.

Minimum eligibility is 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA. However 5% relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to SC / ST.

Eligibility - MPhil:Master Degree in Arts, Science, Computer Application and Management of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the field of study.Minimum eligibility is 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA.
