Applications have been invited by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi for admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma Courses of Academic Year 2012-13 to be conducted at PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RMLH), Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjang Hospital (SJH) and ESI-Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science & Research.
All candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma courses of the IP University for session 2012-13 must appear in the CET, which will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi on 31.03.2012 from 10:30 AM - 01:30 PM (Saturday).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible.
Essential Qualifications:
Every candidate selected for admission to Post Graduate Medical Course shall possess MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India and must have
completed one year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31st March, 2012. The candidate should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council.
The candidate must have obtained 600 marks out of 1200, i.e., 50% marks in the Post Graduate Medical Common Entrance Test in case of general category and
40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC and ST category, i.e., they are required to obtain 480 marks out of 1200.
The candidates should be medically fit to pursue the allocated course on Medical Examination. The selected candidate will be required to undergo Medical Examination by duly constituted medical board at the assigned institution.
APPLICATION FORMS:
The Admission Brochure alongwith Application Form can be obtained in person till 16th March 2012, between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on all working days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) from any one of the following :-
(i) Indian Bank, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector-16C, Dwarka, Delhi-110075
(ii) Office of the Registrar, PGIMER Building, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Baba Kharag Singh Marg, New Delhi-110001.
(iii) Academic Section, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi - 110029.
In case of S.No. (ii) and (iii) above bank draft/banker's cheque of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) drawn in favour of Registrar, GGSIP University payable at Delhi, will be accepted for sale of Admission Brochure. However, candidate who desire to purchase Admission Brochure through Indian Bank, GGSIP University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-75 can pay either in cash or through bank draft/banker's cheque (drawn in favour of Registrar, GGSIP University payable at Delhi) of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only).
The Admission Brochure alongwith Application Form can also be obtained through registered / speed post. A request in this regard should be sent to Joint Registrar (Academic), Administrative Block, Sector 16-C, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110075 alongwith the following:
(i) An application on plain paper, addressed to Joint Registrar (Academic) requesting to issue Admission Brochure for Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma courses 2012. The application should clearly mention the name and the address of the applicant.
(ii) A Demand Draft of Rs.1100/- (Rupees One Thousand One hundred only) drawn in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The name, address, PIN CODE and phone number of the applicant should be clearly mentioned on the back side of the Demand Draft.
(iii) A self-addressed envelope of size not less than 24 x 30 cms.
The Application Form, complete in all respects in the sealed printed envelope given alongwith Admission Brochure, should be submitted by hand at the IPU counter or it may be sent by Registered / Speed Post so as to reach the Controller of Examinations, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,Sector - 16 C, Dwarka, Delhi-110075 latest by 4.00 PM on 19th March, 2012.
