GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) 2014
(Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and
Homeopathy)
GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) 2014 for admissions
to First Year of Professional Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry,
Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Homeopathy in the State of Goa shall be
conducted on
Wednesday, 7th May and Thursday, 8th May, 2014 as per the following
schedule at various centres in Goa:
Physics 07/05/14 10.00 a.m
- 12.00 noon
Chemistry 07/05/14 2.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Mathematics 08/05/14 10.00 a.m. – 12.00 noon
Biology 08/05/14 2.00
p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
GCET-2014 shall be based on syllabus prescribed by
Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim for Std. XIIth
examination of March, 2014 in the above subjects.
Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five)
questions, of one mark each, to be answered in two hours, with no negative
marking.
Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis
of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted
by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam (Std. XIIth /HSSC.)
