PG LAW Common Entrance Test - 2015 (PGLCET-2015)
Applications have been invited for Common Entrance
Test, designated as LAW Common Entrance Test-2015 (LAWCET-2015) and PG LAW
Common Entrance Test - 2015 (PGLCET-2015), conducted by the CONVENER,
LAWCET-2015 & PGLCET-2015, Department of Law, Sri Krishnadevaraya
University, Ananthapuram on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of
Higher Education for admission into 3 Year / 5 Year LL.B / B.L & LL.M.
Regular & Self-Financing Courses in the Colleges of Law in Andhra Pradesh
for the academic year 2015-16.
Course & Eligibility
1. 3 - year
LL.B / B.L:
Candidates should have appeared or passed any
Graduation (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate
marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities
concerned.
2. 5 - year
LL.B / B.L /BBA-LLB (Integrated Cource)
Candidates should have appeared or passed 2 - year
Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks for any
other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the
Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.
3. LL.M:
Candidate holding LL.B. / B.L. Degree and
candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B / B.L., final year examination.
Age limit is not prescribed for admission into LL.M course.
Note :
a) There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the
above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the
Candidates belonging to SCs / STs.
b) The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or
graduation / post graduation through open Universities system directly without
having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible
for admission into the law courses.
Age limits:
a) 5 - year Law Degree - Maximum age is twenty
years in case of general category and twenty two years in case of SCs &
STs.
b) 3 - year Law Degree - Maximum age is thirty
years in case of general category and thirty five years in case of SCs &
STs.

Before filling the Online Application Form, keep
ready with the following details to fill in the appropriate fields:
1. AP Online/e-Seva/Mee Seva Center Transaction Id.
(If payment is being made through AP Online / e-Seva / Mee Seva Center)
Credit or
Debit card details. (If payment is being made through Credit/Debit card)
2. Qualifying Examination Appeared or Passed and
Hall ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination
3. Date of Birth
4. Hall Ticket Number of SSC or Equivalent
Examination Certificate
5. Local Status (OU/AU/SVU/Non-Local)
6. Income of Parent(Income less than Rs.1.0 lakh,
Rs.1.0 lakh to Rs.2.0 lakhs, more than Rs.2.0 lakhs)
7. Category(SC,ST,BC,etc.)
8. Special Category(NCC,CAP,etc)
Application and Registration fee to appear for
LAWCET 2015 examination is: Rs.350/- and the same for PGLCET 2015 examination
is: Rs.500/-
Payments are to be submitted through AP Online/
meeseva/ e.seva, Debit/ Credit Card for Payment Gateway of Visa/ Master/
Maestro.
There are two modes of payment. The first mode is
through AP Online and the other mode is through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net
Banking. The locations of AP Online Centers are given in the LAWCET website.
