JRF/Ph.D Admission Notice 2015

CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) has invited applications from highly talented research oriented candidates to join as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for PhD programme in the following areas for the Academic Session starting from August 2015.

Research Areas
 Organic Chemistry
 Analytical Chemistry
 Polymers & Functional Materials
 Inorganic & Physical Chemistry
 Medicinal Chemistry& Pharmacology
 Biology/ Chemical Biology
 Bio Engineering and Environmental Sciences& Engineering
 Chemical Engineering

Eligibility:
1. JRF PhD Program in Science: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Physical/ Analytical/Medicinal and Polymers): Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Environmental/ Genetic/ Zoology/ Physics or Allied Sciences with a Valid rank in CSIR/UGC NET JRF examination, or a valid DST-INSPIRE/ICMR/DBT Fellowship.
2. JRF PhD Program in Engineering: BE/B.Tech./ M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Sciences with a valid GATE score/ CSIR-UGC-NET rank.
Note: The candidates who have passed CSIR-UGC-NET examination, under the “Lectureship category” are NOT eligible

Last date for submission of application is May 22, 2015.

Selection Procedure at CSIR-IICT
List of shortlisted candidates for written test/ Interview is expected to be displayed in CSIR-IICT website by May 31, 2015
Written test/ interview for the above program are likely to be conducted on June 15-16, 2015 at CSIR-IICT.
