Entrance
Examinations for admission to various Engineering, Agriculture, Fisheries,
Architecture, Veterinary and Medical and allied courses in various Professional
Colleges in Kerala can submit their application online from 3 January 2016 to 29 January 2016 through the
website http://www.cee.kerala.gov.in
The details are
given below:
(a) Medical: (i)

(i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry

B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) & B.Tech. (Food Engg.) Courses
under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech. (Dairy Science & Tech.)
& B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under the Kerala Veterinary &
Animal Sciences University]
(f) Architecture:
B.Arch. (No Entrance Examination. Admission is based on merit as assessed
by equal weightage to NATA Score and marks/grades in the Qualifying
Examination)
The
CEE will conduct separate Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering Courses
and Medical & Allied Courses. The CEE will not conduct any Entrance
Examination for admission to B.Arch. course. However, candidates seeking
admission to B.Arch. course should compulsorily appear and qualify the National
Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of
Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) before 05.06.2016.
Eligibility for
Admission:
I. Nativity: Applicant should
be an Indian citizen. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India
(OCI) Card Holders will be treated on par with Indian citizens for the limited
purpose of admission. However, PIO/OCI candidates will not be eligible for any
kind of reservation.
Both Keralites
and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examinations. Applicants
of Kerala origin will be categorized as 'Keralites'. Others will be categorized
as 'Non-Keralites'. Non-Keralites are classified as 'Non-Keralite Category I'
and lNon-Keralite Category II'.
II.
Academic Qualification:
(a)
Medical & Allied Courses:
(i)For
MBBS. BDS. BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the
Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised
equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50%
marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are
eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a
subject for academic eligibility.
(ii)
For admission to BAMS/ BHMS courses: Candidates who have passed Higher
Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or
examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology
separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are
eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic
eligibility.
(iii)
For admission to BUMS course: Candidates seeking admission to BUMS (Kamil-E-Tib
WaJarahat) course must have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of
Higher Secondary Education. Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent
thereto, with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and
Biology and 50% marks in Biology separately and (a) the candidate should have
passed 10th or 12th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a
subject or (b) pre-Tib examination of one year duration.
(iv)
For admission to B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc courses:
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher
Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto,
with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a
subject for academic eligibility.
(v)
For admission to BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates should have secured not less
than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the
qualifying examination, in addition to the condition as stipulated in clause
6.2.1(a)(iv)of the Prospectus as per regulation 5 of Minimum standards of
Veterinary Education Degree Course (BVSc & AH) Regulation, 1993. Relaxation
in marks is permissible as stipulated in clause 6.2.4 of the Prospectus.
(vi)Eligibility
of BSc. Degree holders: Candidates who have passed the BSc Degree (Three year
course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology
as Main, and any one or two of the above subjects as Subsidiaries, with 50%
marks for Main & Subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that
they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations
recognised as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as
optional subjects are eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BSMS
courses.
(b)
Engineering Courses:
(i)
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or
Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics
separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together
are eligible for admission. However candidates who have passed Higher Secondary
Examination Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent as thereto, with
45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for
admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering
Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges. In case,
the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science
shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and
Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In
case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and
Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as
shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective
Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
(c)
Architecture Course:
(i)
Minimum academic eligibility for admission to B. Arch.: 10+2 or equivalent
examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by
securing 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by
Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR International
Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50%
marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
(ii)
In addition to the academic eligibility prescribed under clause 6.2.3 (a) of
the Prospectus, only those candidates who score 40 % or 80 marks out of 200
(for all categories of candidates) in the National Aptitude Test in
Architecture (NATA) will be considered for admission to B. Arch, course. There
is no relaxation in the minimum passing score of NATA to any category of
candidate as per letter No. CA/5/AcademicNATA dated 11.03.2008. The candidates
are advised to qualify in NATA sufficiently earlier than 05.06.2016.
How to apply
(a)
Online submission of application is required to apply for the Entrance
Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and
Architecture) through the official website of Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in . If a candidate submits more than one
application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.
(b)
All candidates are required to apply online through the website
www.cee.kerala.gov.in for the Entrance Examination for admission to Medical,
Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Engineering and Architecture Courses.

Candidate
can pay application fee in either of the three following methods:
(i)
Security Card: Security Card, Prospectus and an envelope can be obtained from
selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the
prescribed fee (Rs.1000/-for General & Rs.500/- for SC as the case may be),
by cash. List of Post Offices that issue Security cards and Prospectus is
appended to this notification. Security card will not be available at the
Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The Security card
consists of a KEY NUMBER, which is inside the Security panel and will be
visible on scratching the silver panel. There is a Serial Number on each
Security card. The Key number and Serial Number are unique and are required for
filling up of payment details in the online application.
(ii)Demand
Draft: Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a
Nationalized/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
(iii)
Online Payment: Candidates having access to an Internet banking capable
account. Credit card or Debit card can make use of the facility for online
payment of the application fee. Candidates availing this facility should read
and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to
ensure that the payment is successful. On successful payment, the candidate
will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the 'Payment' tab
at the top turned green and the candidate can take printout of the application.
All the necessary entries regarding the online payment will automatically be
added to the application. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a
message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate would
be guided back to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to
receive the final confirmationfsuccess or failure) message and is uncertain
about the outcome of the transaction, due to communication failure or
otherwise, he/she can relogin to the home page and inspect the 'Payment' tab at
the top to see if it's green or not. If it's not turned green, the payment has
not succeeded and the candidate may try for online payment afresh or resort to
an alternative payment mode (security card or demand draft). In the unlikely
event of the amount getting debited from the candidate's account despite the
transaction ending unsuccessfully, the candidate will get the amount reverted
to his/her account within five days.
(d)
Security Card Distribution Centres:
The
Security Card, Prospectus and Envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner
for Entrance Examinations will be distributed from 02.01.2016 to 29.01.2016
through selected branches of Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State. The
amount towards the fee of application is to be remitted in cash at the Post
Offices. Security Cards (Free of Cost). Prospectus and Envelopes desired for ST
candidates will be distributed through the District Tribal Welfare Offices on
production of ST Certificate.
(e)
Candidates opting DUBAI (UAE) as the Centre for Entrance Examination:
Candidates,
who choose 'DUBAI' as their centre for Entrance Examinations, should submit
along with their printout of the application, a Demand Draft for Rs. 12.000/-
as centre fee, drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the 'Commissioner for
Entrance Examinations' payable at Thiruvananthapuram in addition to the
application fee. The candidates opting Dubai centre should note that the
examinations are conducted as per Indian Standard Time (1ST).
Last date and
time for receipt of the Printout of the Application:
The
Printout of the Application and other relevant documents, to be submitted with
the Application, are to be enclosed and sent in the printed envelope bearing
the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, supplied along with
the Prospectus, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. on 30.01.2016 (Saturday), by Hand
Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post. Completed Applications will be received in
the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on holidays also.
Belated
Applications:
Belated
applications will be rejected. Candidates are therefore advised to apply well
in advance. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not be responsible
for any postal delay. Incomplete or defective applications will be summarily
rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Admit Card:
The
Admit Cards of Entrance Examinations can be downloaded from the website http://www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 28.03.2016. The printout of the admit card
thus obtained will have to be produced at the time of examination. Admit Cards
will not be sent by post from this office to the candidate.
The
Entrance Examinations and the subsequent allotments will be based on the
various provisions laid down in the Prospectus approved by the Government.
