NSTSE 2018 National Level Science Talent Search Examination


The Unified Council, Hyderabad, is inviting applications for National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE), 2018 from students who wish to assess their strengths, Weaknesses and nourish their minds for a bright and enterprising future.


About NSTSE 2018
NSTSE 2018 - India's most popular Assessment Exam. NSTSE is a diagnostic test that measures how well a student has understood Mathematics & Science concepts and gives detailed feedback on the same, to help them improve


In its 20 year, Unified Council is happy to invite parents, teachers and students to participate in its programmes and reach new heights.


All competitive exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIIMS, AFMC, NEET, CAT, SAT, GRE and GMAT are so designed to test one’s Fundamental Strengths.


4,50,000 students participated in NSTSE-2017. This shows the popularity of this examination. NSTSE has been appreciated for its utility as a tool for catalyzing improvement.



The NSTSE is simultaneously conducted in Bahrain, Indonesia, Iran, Kuwait, Libiya, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, UAE and Yemen.


NSTSE 2018 Awards Details
Gold Medals & Cash Awards (or) Scholarships for the first 3 in each class (ranks 1 to 3)


a) NSTSE topper will be awarded with Rs 2,00,000/- cash prize. The student who achieves the highest percentage of marks among all the classes is declared as NSTSE Topper.


b) The top three rankers of each class are awarded a Tablet PC + a Memento + a Medal, each


c) Rankers 4 to 25 of each class are awarded a cash prize of Rs.1000 each


d) Rankers 26 to 100 of each class are each awarded Talent & Olympiad Exams Resource Book from M/s. Brain Mapping Academy


*NSTSE Topper:
A student of any class who achieves 100% marks is awarded a prize of Rs.2,00,000. If no student achieves the same, then the student who achieves the highest percentage of marks among all the classes, is awarded Rs.1,00,000


If more than one student achieve the same, the prize money is distributed equally among them. Each topper gets either this prize or the regular prize


Prizes for State Toppers
All the rankers (1 to 100) toppers are each awarded a Britannica Concise Encyclopaedia & Planet Earth (2 CD pack) costing Rs.1690, a Medal and a Certificate of Appreciation
Top 3 rankers from each State (minimum of 10,000 students in a particular State) are each awarded a special award as a token of encouragement

Note: State-wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 100 ranks across the country


Consolation Prizes
The Top Rankers in each class from selected cities* are awarded a Britannica Concise Encyclopaedia & Planet Earth (2 CD pack) costing Rs.1690


The city-wise topper is declared excluding the top 100 ranks across the country and State toppers. City Rank (for every class) is declared for classes having a minimum of 500 students in a particular city


All National State and City Rankers of classes II to IX are given a voucher worth ` 400 from www.mapmySTEP.com - India’s first scientifically designed portal for Olympiad & Talent exams preparation

NSTSE Eligibility
Students of classes I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI (PCM), XI (PCB), XII (PCM), XII (PCB) are eligible to participate in this examination


There is no exam for XI, XII PCMB group


NSTSE follows CBSE syllabus, Question Papers are also suitable for Students of ICSE/ISC and Various State Board/Matriculation Syllabi


Selection Process for NSTSE 2018
The Selection would be based on the written examination. The exam would test the Science and Mathematics ability of the students.


The Exam would be conducted on 04th February 2018 (Sunday). NSTSE result 2018 would be available on the NSTSE website.


Exam Pattern for NSTSE 2018
There will be a separate question paper for each class and the exam would be in English language. There will be objective type questions of one mark each and no negative marking for wrong answers. NSTSE exam will be of 90 minutes.


Syllabus
NSTSE is based on the CBSE syllabus and 85% of the syllabus is considered for setting the NSTSE Question Paper


NSTSE question papers are suitable also for students following ICSE/ISC and various other State Board syllabi


Exam Fee for NSTSE 2018
Rs.300/- which includes Exam Fee
Examination Fee, Success series book, Set of Previous Question Papers (MQP), Student's Performance Report (SPR) and postal charges
Instead of sending the Demand Draft, you can use Online Payment facility and you can use Credit Card/ Debit Card/NET Banking for Online payment


Application for NSTSE 2018
Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online and can also download the application form from the website of NSTSE www.unifiedcouncil.com  


Students can get a Free Printed Registration Form from office by writing a letter along with a self addressed envelope with stamps of Rs.5/- (or)


Students can also download the Registration Form from website and send the filled in application form along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.300/- of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of Unified Council payable at Hyderabad required enclosures to Unified Council, #16-11-16/1/B, Saleem Nagar, Farhat Hospital Road, Malakpet, Hyderabad-500036
