Applications, to be submitted online from 20th June 2012 after 2.00 P.M, are invited from the desirous eligible candidates for admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes, session 2012 in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany and Zoology in the respective PG Departments and other recognized research centres of University (viz CORD University of Kashmir and Department of Biochemistry Govt. Medical College Srinagar). The eligibility and the procedure for applying can be accessed on the official website of the University of Kashmir viz.. www.kashmiruniversiry.net (Quick links M.Phil/Ph.D. Statutes).

The application can be submitted online by accessing the official website of the University (by clicking on the link "M.Phil/Ph.D. 2012'*) The autogenerated (after online submission) application form alongwith pay-in-slip can then be downloaded by the candidate, who in turn shall deposit an application fee of Rs. 250/- in any of the Finacle Branches of J&K Bank. The autogenerated application form alongwith the University copy of the pay-in-slip & relevant certificates shall be received in the office of the concerned Departments by or before 10lh July 2012.

The date for the conduct of M.Phil/ Ph.D Entrance Test in the concerned subjects shall be notified separately. Further, the admission shall be subject to the availability of seats in the concerned Departments of the Faculty of Biological Sciences. Candidates in their own interest are advised to pursue the University Notifications issued in this regard on the Official Website www.kashrniruniversiry.net.
