Common Entrance Test – 2011 (under Management Quota)


Consortium of Self– Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu is conducting a Common Entrance Test – 2011 for the Admission of Students under Management Quota of MBA / MCA / M.E. /M.Tech / M.Arch courses during the Academic Year 2011-12.


The eligibility for courses under the category of MBA/ MCA/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch is given below.
(1) M.B.A. Degree Programme:
A pass in any Degree with 10+2+3/4years pattern, (or) A pass in any Degree with 10+3 (Diploma) +3 year pattern.
Candidates who have already passed the above qualifying degree course and those who have appeared for the final semester / year examination of the said qualifying degree course during April / May 2011 may apply for MBA/ MCA/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch Common Entrance Test - 2011, for admission to M.B.A. degree programme.

(2) M.C.A.Degree Programme:
A pass in any Degree with 10+2+3/4 years pattern with Mathematics at +2 level or with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.

(3) M.E., /. M.Tech., / M.Arch., Degree Programme:
Apass in B.E/ B.Tech./ B.Arch. Degree programme.
B.Pharm / B.Sc. (Agri./ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Fishery) degree programme.
Mater's Degree in the relevant branch of Science /Arts, which are prescribed.
Candidates with section 'A' & 'B' certificate holders and other similar certificate holder of professional bodies or societies ( e.g. A.M.I.E.) recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India are considered to be equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Degree programme only with 2 years industrial experience in the relavant field after successful completion of the course. An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidate.

Application form (Data Sheet) with Information Brochure is available through Consortium Office, Committee to Regulate / Monitor the admissions of students to Professional, Arts and Science Colleges, F1 DOTE Quarters, Gandhi Mandabam Road, Chennai - 600 025 and at all MBA / MCA / M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch member colleges of the Consortium (Refer Website: www.tnsfconsortium.org for the list of member colleges) on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) by cash in person or by Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) drawn in favor of “Consortium of Self – Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu” payable at Chennai by post.

The candidates should submit the filled in application form along with the Examination Fees and Enclosures so as to reach the Consortium Office, New No. 29, Ganapathy Street, Royapettah, Chennai – 600 014 on or before 16th July, 2011.

TEST FIVE:
For admission to 10+2 Vocational Engg Stream pass outs/ ITI / pass outs for admission to 3rd Semester, in analogous disciplines against 10% supernumerary seats

Eligibility
For Test Three:
Passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE in any stream of 10+2 (Academic)or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate. The subject Hindi/Sanskrit is compulsory for Modern Office Practice (Hindi) and the candidate should have passed in this subject without considering grace marks.
For Test Five:
For l0+2 Vocational (Engg. Courses) - Passed in 12 Class examination of analogous 10+2 Vocational Stream of CBSE or equivalent from Delhi Schools with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of best five subjects for which marks are reflected in the mark sheet without considering grace marks in these best five subjects.
For ITI pass outs (Engg. Courses) - Passed NCVT/SCVT from lTls/ lTCs located in Delhi and affiliated to DGEGTI BTE, Delhi with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects reflected in the mark sheet without considering grace marks.


How To Apply
Sale of Information Bulletin with Application Form:

The Information Bulletin with application form will be on sale from the sale counter of select branches of CORPORATION BANK within Delhi and NCR of Delhi.

A maximum of 3 information bulletins will be sold to one person.

Sale of Information Bulletin with Application Form by Post:

The Information Bulletin with Application Form for candidates outside Delhi can be obtained by registered/speed post. The request should reach the Controller, Board of Technical Education, Muni Maya Ram Marg, Pitampura, Delhi – 110088, latest by 19.04.2011 (4:00 PM) with a bank draft of Rs.350/- per test drawn in favor of DKDF payable at Delhi (Name, Address & Phone No. of the candidate should be mentioned clearly on the back side of Bank Draft) and a self addressed envelope (size not less than 24X30 cm) AFFIZING THEREON Rs.50/- postage stamp. The envelope requesting for issuance of information bulletin and application form by post must be superscribed at the left-top corner with “Request for Information Bulletin for CET-2011”

Information Bulletin is also available on the website of the Department at – www.cetdelhi.nic.in. The downloaded application forms will be accepted only at Board of Technical Education, Muni Maya Ram Marg, Pitampura, Delhi-88 with a DD of Rs.350/- in favor of DKDF payable at Delhi.
