Department of Management Studies, Goa University has invited applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) course of Academic Year 2015-17.

Admission Criteria:

Candidate must have passed the Bachelor's Degree in any discipline such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Medicine etc. of this University or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto.

The application fee is Rs.1000

There are 2 ways of making the payment

(1) Cash Payment at any SBI or HDFC bank branch

Generate & print bank challan of SBI or HDFC based on your convenience and make necessary payments at the nearest branch of the respective bank chosen by you. Make sure to enter the bank journal number on the form in case of SBI. The scanned copy of the challan has to be uploaded after making payment to the bank.

(2) Credit Card / Debit Card / Online Banking

Choose the payment mode as Credit Card / Debit Card / Online Banking and make the payment using one of these 3 options and ensure that you get a success message for the transaction. In this case there is no upload of any payment proof required

MCA Admission Notice 2014

Department of Computer Science & Technology, Goa University has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to MCA Course of Academic Year 2014-15.

Eligibility for Admission:

1. Graduate in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks at the first degree examination (50% for candidates in reserved category - OBC, ST, SC, PH, FF).

or Minimum CPI must be 6.00 in the scale of 1 to 10 at the first degree examination (minimum CPI must be 5.5 in the scale of 1 to 10 for candidates in reserved category –OBC, ST, SC, PH, FF). or For any other method of declaration of the result, the equivalent percentage of the above cases will be decided by the university after the applications have been received. The decision of the university is final.

2. Candidate must have taken mathematics as one of the subjects at HSSCE (10+2) level or at a higher level (documentary proof is essential).

3. The admission to first year of MCA program for the year 2014-15 will be strictly based on the Ranking obtained in the ENTRANCE TEST conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Goa University.

Candidates who have appeared for a degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. In case such candidates are selected and their results are not available at the time of admission, these candidates will be given provisional admission. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria, preferably at the time of Admission but not later than 30th June 2014.

Applications:

The MCA prospectus along with application form will be available for purchase (Rs. 1000/-) from the Office of the Department of Computer Science & Technology, Goa University from 22nd April 2014 to 22nd May 2014.

The same can also be downloaded from the Goa University website (www.unigoa.ac.in)  when made available. Last date for receiving completed application forms is 22nd May, 2014(4pm).

Applications have been invited by The Coordinator (Admissions), Integrated MBA, Department of Management Studies, Goa University, Goa 403206 for admission to Integrated MBA Course in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism for the year 2014-15.

Eligibility: A pass in the XIIth standard or 3 years Govt. approved diploma after 10th standard by admission date

Selection Process: If the number of applicants exceeds 30, an entrance test will be conducted at the University. Students answering UGAT 2014 will be given preference. University rules regarding reservation will be applicable.

Important:

Complete the application form from www.unigoa.ac.in (between 15th April 2014 and 23rd May 2014) and make ` 500 payment, either online, or by bank challan and enter payment details. If you are making payment by bank challan, you will need to enter the Journal no. provided by the bank in the form. Applications incomplete or received without payment will not be accepted. Application fee is non-refundable. You will receive a confirmation email after submitting your form online.

Those who have paid the fee of Rs.500 can collect their copy of the Prospectus from the Department Of Management Studies, Goa University, after verifying the payment.

Important Dates:

Last date for payment of fees of Rs. 60,000 is 6th June 2014

Late date for withdrawal of admission is 20th June 2014.
