An objective type (MCQ) Entrance Tests for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Degree Course in Govt. and Private B.Sc. Nursing Institutions located in the State of H.P. and in Sister Nivedita Govt. College of Nursing, I.G.M.C. Shimla for the session 2015-2016 will be held on July 5, 2015 (Sunday).

ELIGIBILITY AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - B.Sc (Nursing):

1. (i) Female children of Bonafide Himachali/Domicile/Himachal Govt. employees and employees of Autonomous bodies wholly or partially financed by the Himachal Pradesh Government will only be eligible to apply for admission to 4 years B.Sc. Nursing Degree Course through Entrance Test to be conducted by H.P. University, Shimla in Sister Nivedita Govt. College of Nursing, IGMC, Shimla and Private un-aided B.Sc. Nursing Colleges/Institutions situated in the State of Himachal Pradesh.

(ii) For filling up of 50 % Management Quota Seats in Private un-aided B.Sc. Nursing Colleges in State of Himachal Pradesh, there will be no domicile requirement. Under this quota, both Himachali and Non- Himachali interested candidates can compete in the entrance test subject to fulfilment of minimum educational qualification, age etc. as prescribed in the prospectus.

2. The age of candidates should be between 17 to 35 years as on 31st December, 2015 i.e. the candidate should be born between 01.01.1981 and 1.1.1999. However, upper age can be relaxable by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates i.e. the candidate must born between 1.1.1976 and 1.1.1999. Age as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be entertained.

3. Admission to married candidates will be given/allowed subject to production of medical fitness certificate.

4. The candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from H.P. Board of School Education/AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or any other Board/University established by law in India with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Core/English Elective subjects with 45% aggregate marks in the above subject(s). For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the required percentage of aggregate marks will be 40%. This provision will also apply to Scheduled Castes/Tribes/Other Backward Classes candidates.

5. The candidates who have appeared in 10+2 examination and whose result are not yet declared may also apply for this test, but their candidature shall only be considered in case they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed in the Prospectus at the time of Ist round of Counselling.

The Process for filling online application form will continue till 05.06.2015. The desirous candidates are advised to be ready with soft copy of passport size colour photograph and scanned copy of signature in jpg. before filling online application form. The fee for B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Test is Rs.1400/- in case of General/ OBC & their Sub-Categories and Rs.700/- for SC/ST & their Sub-Categories.

Last date for Receipt of Computer generated confirmation copy of Online Application Form in the Entrance Tests Section, H.P. University, Shimla-171005 is 8.6.2015.

BAMS / BHMS Entrance Examination 2015

All India Combined Entrance Test (MCQ) for admission to BAMS & BHMS courses in RG Govt. PG Ayurvedic College, Paprola, (Kangra) and Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (Pvt), Kumarhati, (Solan) H P respectively will be held on 28-06-2015 (Sunday) at Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Mandi and Shimla Examination Centres.

Number of Seats:

i) In BAMS Course, 41 seats out of total 50 seats will be filled up from eligible Bonafide Himachali Candidates under Group?1. Two seats are reserved for Govt. of India Nominees (Allocated to the state of J & K) under Group-II. Out of Remaining seven seats under Group - III, one seat shall be reserved for Malaysian Nationals and one for ICCR sponsored candidate. Remaining five seats under Group-III shall be filled up on All India Basis in which Bonafide Himachali who have applied under Group-I shall also be considered.

ii) In BHMS Course, 47 seats out of total 75 seats will be filled up under State Quota and remaining 28 seats under Management Quota Seats.

(Note: The admissions to the BAMS Course will be subject to approval of the CCIM and Central Council (CCH) in case of BHMS.)

Educational Qualification for BAMS Course:

Candidates should have passed/appeared in any one of the qualifying examination at the time of applying for the entrance test :

a) 10+2 new Course Examination of a University/Board established by law in India, or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects which shall include a practical test in Science subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes) and has also qualified the subject of English.

OR

The B.Sc. Degree with 50% marks (40% marks for Scheduled Castes/Tribes/Other Backward Classes) of a University established by law in India with any three subjects out of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Physics, Human Anatomy and Bio-Chemistry; provided that such a candidate must have passed the Pre-Medical or an equivalent examination with English as compulsory subject of Board/University established by law in India.

OR

Any examination of a University/Board/College or School in a foreign country, recognized as equivalent for the purpose by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

Educational Qualification For BHMS Course

The candidates, should have passed 10+2 from H.P.Board of School Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized board/University with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as Elective Subjects.

Note: The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and whose results are still awaited can also apply but their candidature will be provisional and subject to fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria by the time of Counselling.

Age:

The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years and must not have completed 25 years of age as on 31st December, 2015. For BHMS, the candidate must have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December, 2015.

Mode of payment of Entrance Test Fee: Rs.1600/-(Rupees Sixteen hundred only) in case of General and Other Categories and Rs.800/-(Rupees eight hundred only) in case of SC/ST Categories is required to be paid by the candidates at any Branch of State Bank of India by computer generated challans/Net Banking or through Credit/Debit Cards of any Bank

The Computer generated confirmation copy of Application Form with a separate photograph pasted on it duly attested by the Gazetted Officer and having signatures of the candidate and parents along with fee receipt must reach in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Ent. Tests), Room No.10, (Ground Floot) Administrative Block, Summer Hill, Shimla -5 latest by 12.06.2015.

Applications have been invited for B.Ed. Entrance Test leading for admission to B.Ed. Course in Himachal Pradesh for the Session 2015-16.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

(i) The  candidates  with  at  least  50%  marks  either  in  the  Bachelor's  Degree  (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts)  and  or  in  the  Master's  Degree  in  Sciences/  Social  Sciences/ Humanity,  Bachelor's  in  Engineering  or  Technology  with  specialization  in  Science  and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto and 45% marks in  case  of  SC/ST/OBC/Physically  Handicapped  categories  in  the  aforesaid  Bachelor's/Master's  Degree  and  50%  marks  for  Bachelor's  in  Engineering  or  Technology  from  a recognized  University  established  by  law  in   India  are  eligible  for  admission  to  the programme.

(ii) The candidates who have appeared in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. final year or Master's Degree examination and the result of the same has not yet been declared, can also apply for B.Ed. Entrance Test. However, the admission will be made subject to the production of certificate of qualifying examination with required percentage of aggregate marks at BA/B.Sc./B.Com./Master's level examinations as per the eligibility clause of the prospectus on the day of admission/counseling. In case, a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility conditions on the particular day of admission/counseling, he/she will have no right for admission to the B.Ed. course.

AGE: There is no upper age limit for candidates applying to the regular B.Ed. Course of one year.
