Registration Open for IGNOU’s Certificate in Spanish Language Online Programme

Registration open on first come first serve basis. Last date for registration is Feb. 11 , 2009 .

IGNOU in collaboration with the INSTITUTO CERVANTES, New Delhi, is launching on-line Certificate in Spanish at level A. 1.1 using AVE’s platform of Instituto Cervantes internet website.

The AVE platform (Virtual Spanish classroom) has the following features:

Interactive multimedia course materials:

· Latest information technology: sound and images, chat forums, audio conferencing, interactive activities
· a tutor to guide and advice students, provide them with reinforcement or motivational exercises and evaluate their work.
· a collaborative distance study group.
· IGNOU in cooperation with Instituto Cervantes has prepared student Programme Guide and Study material as value added additional help.

Eligibility Criteria :
10+2 with knowledge of English

In the first batch, admission will be restricted to 200 students of Indian origin within India on a first cum-first serve basis. For the online programme access to computer and internet is a must. Please ensure that you have basic infrastructure available at your end.

Duration :
The programme can be completed in a minimum period of six months and a maximum period of 2 years.

Medium of Instruction :
The Programme is offered in Spanish and with translation facilities for instructions in English.

Fee Structure :
The fees for the Programme including registration fee is as follows:
Rs. 2,000 + Rs. 100 for registration
