MBBS ADMISSION NOTICE 2014-2015
The Tripura Medical College & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
Memorial Teaching Hospital has invited applications for admission to MBBS
Course of Academic Year 2014-15.
Eligibility
Criteria:
As per Medical Council of India (MCI) Amendment
Notification No. MCI-34 (1)/2010-Med/32962 dt 07.10.2010 a candidate must have
passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and
English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken
together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying
(10+2) Higher Secondary or equivalent examination for submitting application
for Entrance Test.
In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled
Castes / Scheduled Tribes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology /
Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination be 40 % instead of 50%
as stated above and it would be applicable also for the candidates belonging to
Other Backward Class for All India other than Tripura State domiciled
candidates.
The candidates who have appeared in the (10+2)
Higher Secondary or any equivalent qualifying examination in the year 2014 are
also eligible to appear in the Entrance Test pending declaration of the result.
A candidate must have attained the age of 17 yrs on
or before 31" December of the year of application.
Date of birth as recorded in Pass certificate of
10TH standard / Madyamik / 10 + 2 Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination.

Interested candidates can obtain the Information
Brochure & Prospectus along with the Application
Form attached directly from Principal's office
personally / representative on all working days (11 am to 4 pm) on payment of
Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) only by A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of
‘The Society for Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital,’
Hapania, West Tripura, payable at Agartala through S.B.I or any other
nationalized bank.

The downloaded Application Form shall accompany the
A/c payee Demand Draft amounting to Rs. 3000/- (Rupees ThreeThousand) only
during submission of application.
Documents
required to be enclosed with the Application:
Applicants must submit the completed application
form with attested photocopies of the following certificates:
Pass Certificate of the SSLC j Madhyamik
Examination as proof of Age.
Admit Card of the (10+2) HS Examination or
equivalent examination pending declaration of the result.
Permanent Resident Certificate from the Competent
Authority (in case of Tripura Domicile)
ST / SC or Category Certificate from the Competent
Authority (where applicable)
BPL Card copies (where applicable)
Two stamp size recent color photograph of the
applicant.
Additional documents required to be produced at the
time of counseling & admission in original along with the attested
photocopies:
Mark-sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination
or any equivalent Examination from the recognized Board.
School Leaving Certificate.
Proof of Indian Nationality.
Important
Dates:
Last date of receipt of complete application Form in the
Office of the Principal: 15th May, 2014 (upto 5.00 pm)
Issue of Admit Card from the office of the Principal (to be
collected in person): 16th to 17th May, 2014 (10am to 4 pm)
Entrance Test (to be conducted at Agartala Center only): 18th
May, 2014 (2 pm to 3.30 pm)
