PG Diploma in Sports Medicine Admission Notice 2015

Applications are invited by Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports from the qualified candidates in AIPGMEE- 2015 for admission into PG Diploma in Sports Medicine 2015-17 session.

Eligibility criteria:

Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS examination from any of the Indian/Foreign university recognized by Medical Council of India), one year compulsory rotatory internship.

Candidate should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India OR any of the State Medical Councils OR should obtain the same within one month of the date of admission. Foreign national or NRI has to obtain their Post Graduation study registration from Medical Council of India.

Stipend:

PGDSM students will receive stipend equal to the pay scale of Rs.15600 39100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay + DA as admissible from time to time. The in-service/sponsored candidates will not receive any stipend.

PG Diploma in Sports Medicine Admission Notice 2014-16 session

Applications are invited by Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports from the qualified candidates in AIPGMEE- 2014 for admission into PG Diploma in Sports Medicine 2014-16 session.

Eligibility criteria:

1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

2. A candidate, who holds MBBS degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.

3. The dates indicated by candidates with regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship i.e. starting date, completion date in the application Form shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotating Resident

Internship completion certificate at the time of admission.

4. The cut off dates for the recognition of the Medical Colleges from where the candidates have passed their MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship for the year 2014 will be 31 October, 2013. The Colleges recognized after this date will not considered.

5. Registration with M.C.I./State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of admission.

6. The candidates who are already pursuing PG Courses either through All India Quota or State Quota are not eligible for admission till they complete the course

Eligibility:
Candidates having MBBS degree with completion of one year compulsory internship from any university recognized by medical council of India are eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to those candidates, who have achieved sports excellence and or have experience of working with sportspersons or have postgraduate qualification in Physiology/ Medicine/ Orthopaedics/Surgery.

MSc (Sports Coaching) Admissions 2011-2012


Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala has invited applications for admission to MSc (Sports Coaching) course, affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, for the Academic Session 2011-13.



The course will be conducted in the following sports disciplines at NS NIS, Patiala: Athletics, Basketball, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Swimming, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling


Qualifications for MSc (Sports Coaching):
i) Graduate Degree from any recognized Indian / Foreign University
ii) Diploma in Sports Coaching from SAI NS NIS, Patiala or its other academic Centers
with minimum 60% marks.
iii) Aptitude for research work
iv) Proficiency in Sports
v) Age not more than 45 years, on the date of commencement of the course(Upper
age limit can be relaxed up to three years in case of deserving candidates.
