Ph.D Admissions 2012
The Department of Applied Optics and Photonics will be admitting a maximum of twelve (12) students to the Ph.D. program of the Department, if found suitable. Candidates with M.Sc (Physics/Electronics/Biomedical Instrumentation or equivalent), M.Sc.(Tech) in Optics and Optoelectronics, M.Tech (Optics and Optoelectronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Instrumentation or equivalent) may apply. The admission process will be in accordance with the PhD regulations of the University (available at http://www.caluniv.ac.in/Phd_Dlit/PhD%20rules.pdf). There is no fixed syllabus for the written examination. Graduate level knowledge of Optical Physics, Optics & Optoelectronics, Electronics and Mathematics is expected.
