Applications in prescribed form are invited for admission to the Six Months Certificate Course (January to June 2015) in Kokborok at Tripura University.

Eligibility Criteria:

H.S. pass with at least 45% marks in aggregate.5% of marks shall be relaxed for applicants belonging to ST/SC/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer Category) & PWD categories.

2. University copy of Power Jyoti Challan

3. Self- attested photo copy of admit card and mark sheet of H.S examination

4. SC/ST/PWD Certificate ( wherever applicable)

Payment mode: All payment are to be made through SBI Power Jyoti Account: 33798696060 of Tripura University. Challan form is to be downloaded from Tripura University website. Fess for the certificate course is Rs. 500 (Rs. 300 for SC/ST/PWD candidate) for Indian Candidate and US $ 15 for foreign national. Bank charges extra.

Date of Entrance Examination: 12th January, 2015.

Publication of list of selected candidates:15th January, 2015.

Last Date of Admission: 16th January, 2015.

Commencement of classes:19th January, 2015.

Applications for admission to Ph.D. Programme of Tripura University for the year 2011 are invited from eligible candidates for appearing in the Research Eligibility Test (RET) to pursue research in the Departments of Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Political Science, Philosophy, History, Economics, Commerce, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, Human Physiology, Botany & Geography and Disaster Management.

Eligibility:
Candidates holding a Master Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in the concerned subject or allied subjects from any recognised University or Institute of National Importance.

Fellowship:
A fellowship of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand) only per month shall be paid to each selected candidate provided he/ she is Non-NET qualified or NET qualified without scholarship and is not employed in any Government Department/ Private Organization.

How to apply:
Prescribed application form on payment of Rs.100/- through University Bank challan can be obtained from the Ph.D. Section, Tripura University on all working days from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Filled in application should be supported by payment of Rs. 100/- by Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, Tripura University payable at SBI, Tripura University Campus Branch, Suryamaninagar-799022.
Application must be supported by self-attested copies of certificates/ mark-sheets from Matriculation/Madhyamik & onwards. The envelope covering the application should clearly be marked as "Admission for Ph.D. Programme".

Last date for submission of application:
Application form duly filled-in may be submitted to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), T.U. on or before 4th July, 2011.

Date of examination:
The written examination for the Research Eligibility Test will be held on 15th July, 2011 from 11 A.M to 1 PM. at Academic Building (Geography Department), T.U. for all the subjects. The Viva-voce Examination will be held on the same day i.e the 15th July, 2011 from 2 PM onwards in the respective departments.
NET/SLET qualified candidates and M. Phil qualified candidates as per UGC guidelines are to appear in the Viva-voce Examination. Candidates are requested to bring all their original mark-sheets/ certificates etc. from Matriculation or equivalent examinations onwards.
