The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, have formed "Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka". (COMEDK).

(COMEDK) has been assigned the task of organising a common entrance test for the academic year 2009-2010, for candidates aspiring to pursue Post Graduate Courses in Medicine and Dentistry in the state of Karnataka, in Member Institutions of the Consortium (Medical and Dental Colleges).

COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralised counselling (Single window system). The details will be publicised in due course on their website. (http://www.comedk.org)

The list of the Member Institutions who have indicated that they are participating in the COMEDK testing program, along with the courses offered by them, is published as part of this brochure, on their website. (http://www.comedk.org)

Applicants are advised to read the brochure thoroughly and familiarise themselves with the test procedures.

COMEDK invites applications for taking COMEDK PGET-2009 from eligible candidates seeking admissions to PG courses in Medical and Dental streams for the academic year 2009-2010.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPLYING TO COMEDK PGET-2009
Applicants should have successfully passed all years of their MBBS/BDS from an institution recognised by MCI/DCI and must have completed/ completing their internship by 30th April 2009.


HOW TO APPLY:
Applications are to be filled online on their website (http://www.comedk.org) after obtaining a DD for Rs.1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred Only) in favour of COMEDK-2009, payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents asked for so as to reach on or before 05/01/2009.
