Commonwealth Split-Site Doctoral Programme 2010

 
University Grants Commission has invited applications for the award of Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships for the academic year 2010, offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom.

Scholarships are available in all disciplines including Medicine and Dentistry. Applicant should be citizen of India. Applicant should hold by 1st October, 2010, a first Degree of upper Second Class Honours standard (or above) or a Second Class Degree and a relevant Post Graduate qualification which will normally be a Master's Degree and in the fields of Medicine and Dentistry, have qualified between 1st October 2000 and 1st October, 2005. The Scholarship is for 12 months period of study or two six-month periods and will commence in September/October 2001 in UK.

Details of the Scholarship along with the prescribed application form are available in all the Universities/Institutes/UGC Regional Offices and UGC Head Quarters, New Delhi (IC- II Section, Room No.505). Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed format duly nominated by Vie-Chancellor/Executive Head of the University/Institute along with office seal. Direct application from the applicant will not be accepted.
