The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a test conducted for those desirous of taking admission to the First year of Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course in India and is designed to measure the aptitude of a person in Architecture. The test measures the drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to Architecture.
NATA is offered at designated Test Centers located at Colleges/Schools of Architecture in India. The Updated list of Test centers will be made available at http://www.nata.in
Those seeking admissions to Schools/Colleges of Architecture, Government, Government Aided, University Departments, Private unaided, including colleges affiliated to Self-financed Deemed Universities and Private Universities, or any Department of Architecture within a college, have to take the NATA. As per http://www.nata.in, NATA Fees is Rs.800/- to be paid at the time of Registration and before collection of the appointment voucher from the Test Center. The test fee is to be paid by Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of 'Council of Architecture', payable at New Delhi.
