NEST 2010
FOR ADMISSION TO FIVE YEAR INTEGRATED M.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), for admission to the Five Year Integrated M.Sc Programmes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at National Institute of Science, Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy (UM-DAE) Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CBS), Mumbai will be held on June 6, 2010.
Applicant should have strong desire of pursuing studies in science subjects and should be aspiring to pursue research in science subjects at the highest international levels and must be appearing in 12th standard examination from any recognized Board in India and expecting to get at least 60 % marks. Students who have passed this examination in last two years (but not before) with minimum of 60 % marks are also eligible.
The selected students get INSPIRE fellowship (Rs.5000/- pm) provided their performance is satisfactory.
Detailed Announcement of the exam and activation of website will be made in the first week of January, 2010.
The Last date for receiving completed applications would be 31st March, 2010.
The results of the Examination to be held on 6th June, 2010 will be declared at http://nest.niser.ac.in/ on June 30, 2010.
