Stage I will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on 22.5.2010 at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Jallandhar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur and Noida.
Stage II for those qualifying in the Stage I Examination will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on 13.6.2010 at Delhi only. Only those candidates who score a minimum of 50 % (minimum of 40% in case of SC/ST) in Stage II will be included in the Merit list.
Both stages of the CET will have a question paper in English medium with 200 objective type multiple choice questions, 50 each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The level of questions will be that of the 12th Class under the 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science. The Syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) will be as specified by CBSE for Class XI and XII under 10+2 scheme for students passing class 12th in 2010.
Applicant should be an Indian Citizen. NRIS are not eligible. Applicant should be of 17 years of age as on 31.12.2010. Applicant should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I.Sc) or an equivalent examination of a Recognized University/Board of any Indian State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) and should have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC/ST subject to availability of seats for these categories in these institutions). Those appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply. However their admission will be subject to production of documentary evidence of having secured the eligibility at the time of counseling for admission.

The Admission Brochure along with Application from can also be obtained by Registered/Speed Post by sending a request to Joint Registrar (Academic), Room No 108, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110403 to reach there latest by 6.4.2010, along with an application on plain paper requesting to issue Admission Brochure III for MBBS Programme clearly mentioning the name and address of the applicant, a Demand Draft for Rs.1100/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi, with the name, address and phone number of the applicant noted on the back side of the DD and a self addressed envelope of size not less than 24 cm x 30 cm. The words 'Request for Admission brochure – III for MBBS Programme -2010' should be written at the left top corner of the envelope in which the request is sent.
Filled up Application from should reach The Controller of Examination, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110403 in the printed envelope given along with the Admission Brochure latest by 5 pm on 21.4.2010. It can be submitted by hand at the University Counter within this time period.
Allotted Roll Numbers and details of Centres will be displayed at www.ipu.ac.in on 12.5.2010. Results of Stage I will be declared on 29.5.2010. Test Centres for Stage II will be announced on 8th June 2010. Stage II results will be declared on 19.6.2010.
