Screening Test (IIAST)-2011 for Admissions to Ph.D/ Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Tech-Ph.D

 

Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, has invited application from candidates who have completed their degree or completing by July 2011 for appearing in the Screening Test (IIAST)-2011 to be conducted at venues of Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar,Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kodaikanal, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Varanasi and Udaipur on 18th December 2010, Saturday, for admission to the following programmes:

1. Ph.D Programme (Candidates will register with Pondicherry University)
2. Integrated M.Sc - Ph.D Programme in colloboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
3. Integrated M.Tech - Ph.D Programme in Astronomical Instrumentation in collaboration with University of Calcutta (CU)

Candidates who have successfully passed CSIR-UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship, and/or scored high percentile in JEST/GATE, may also apply for the above courses.
