Institute for Technology and Management, Navi Mumbai, has invited application for admission to Collaborative Research Programme with Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, leading to the award of Ph.D Degree in Management to be commenced in January 2011 in the following proposed areas of research:

1. Finance
2. Marketing
3. Human Resource Management
4. Operations
5. Economics
6. Information Systems & Technology

Candidates with Master's Degree in Humanities/ Commerce/ Science/ Management /Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy from a recognized university with 60% marks or equivalent are eligible to apply for the course.

The candidates will have to undergo a preparatory programme for a period of six months in the designated Campuse of ITM such as; Navi Mumbai, depending upon the choice of the candidate.

After successful completion of the comprehensive examinations both written and viva-voce, the candidates will be allowed to register as doctoral students to undertake thesis/dissertation with BIT.
