COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY:
FOR ALL B.E. / B.TECH COURSES (OTHER THAN BIOTECHNOLOGY, BIOINFORMATICS AND BIOMEDICAL)
* Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
* Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2011 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC/ICSE with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
* Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in their 10th class or equivalent examination.
* Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2010 are not eligible to apply.
FOR B.TECH - BIOTECHNOLOGY, BIOINFORMATICS AND BIOMEDICAL COURSES
* Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

FOR B. ARCH COURSE
* Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Mathematics Physics and Chemistry.
* Should have passed in National Aptitude Test in Architecture-2011 (NATA), conducted by Council of Architecture.
* Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2011 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
* Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in their 10th class or equivalent examination.
* Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2010 are not eligible to apply.
FOR BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (BDS) COURSE
* Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
* Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2011 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC with a minimum of 60% in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
* Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in their 10th class or equivalent examination.
* Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2010 are not eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY:
To apply for Entrance Examination, the eligible candidate may choose any one of the following options :
1. PURCHASING APPLICATION FORM :
Eligible candidates can buy the application form on payment of Rs. 500/- at the major Post Office and Indian Bank Branches, throughout India. Filled in applications should be sent to "Sathyabama University, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai 600119", so as to reach on or before 30th March, 2011.
Students who apply by purchasing the application (at the major Post Office and Indian Bank Branches) can get their hall ticket by post. In case of postal delay, they can even download their Entrance Examination Hall ticket from University website, after 15th March, 2011.
2. ONLINE APPLICATION :
Student can also use Online application available at www.sathyabamauniversity.ac.in. Students opting for online application should fill in the application, and should verify all the details entered. After the verification of the details, payment of Rs. 500/- should be made either by using Net Banking Facility/Credit Cards(VISA only)/Debit Cards(VISA only) or by challan payment at any one of the Indian Bank branches. Students using Online application can download their Entrance Examination Hall tickets at the University website, after 15th March, 2011.
