Applications are invited from the interested candidates for admission to the following two-year full time Post Graduate /five year Integrated Programme offered by the Central University of Orissa for the Academic Session 2011-2012:
School of Languages: (i) English (ii) Oriya
School of Social Sciences:(i) Sociology (ii) Anthropology
School of Education & Education Technology: (i) Journalism & Mass Communication
School of Basic Sciences & Information Sciences: (i) Mathematic (Five Years Integrated programme)
School of Bio-Diversity & Conservation of Natural Resources: (i) Bio-diversity & Conservation of Natural Resources
School of Development Studies: (i) Economics
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 45% or equivalent grades. For five year Integrated Course of Mathematics, the eligibility criteria is 10+2 with at least 45% of marks or equivalent grade.
Reservation of Seats: 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates (non creamy layer). 15% and 7.5% of sea are reserved for SC/ST candidates respectively in all programmes of study. 3% seats are reserved for Physical Challenged (Handicapped) candidates (with a minimum of 40% disability). All SC/ST and Physical Challenged (Handicapped) candidates who have passed and/or are appearing in the qualifying examination a eligible to appear in the entrance examination irrespective of their percentage of marks.
The selection of candidates will only be made through All India Entrance Examination in 13 examination centers throughout India.
