Eligibility: Hons. Graduate in the respective Subject
(xviii) Biochemistry -Honours in Chemislry with Physics and Mathematics
(xix) Biophysics - Hons. in Physics with Chemistry and Mathematics
(xx) Ertvironmental Science - For KU students preferably Hons. in Environmental Science. For other than K. U. students. Hons. Degree (preferably Ist class) in Botany/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Physics/ Geography (candidates having Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics at H.S. level/Physiology/GeologyMiaxibiologv/Zoology/Environmental Science
(xxi) FoIklore: Hons Graduate in Language and Literature / Social Science / Fine Arts
B. 1-year Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Adult Education: - Candidates having B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com. are eligible.
C. M.A. / MSc. Education - Candidates having Hons. in Education and B.Ed preceded by regular Hons. and or Master Degree in School Subject recognized by University and NCTE or equivalent Degree in Education are eligible.
D. M.Ed. Course (1 year) : Candidates with at least 50% marks in Postgraduate in Science, Arts & Commerce preceded by regular Hons. Degree in relevant subject and at least 55% in B.Ed, or any equivalent Degree from any Institution recognized by the University and NCTE
E. Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BX.I.Sc.) - Eligibility: Fresher - Hons /or Master Degree with Hons in any Subject/ Bachelor Degree with Hons in any subject with 60% Marks in Certificate / Bachelor Degree in any Subject with 3 years Experience for Deputed candidates.
F. Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) - Eligibility: Bachelor of Library & Information Science. Deputed may also apply. Candidates (only K.U.) who have appeared at the 2nd semester examination, 2011 may also apply but they must submit the final mark sheet before the publication of merit list.
G. 1-year certificate course in Russian Language : Graduate in any discipline.
H. 1-year postgraduate diploma course in Russian Language: Graduate in any discipline with certificate course in Russian Language.
Prescribed application form along with University profile can be obtained till August 5, 2011 on all working days except Saturdays. Sundays and holidays, at the Admission Section of the Kalyani University by hand on payment of Rs.l50-(General) and Rs. 75/- (SC/ST).
