Applications have been invited by Tamil Nadu Open University for admission to Distance Mode B.Ed course of Academic Year 2011-12:
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Educational qualification: In-service teachers with a Bachelor’s degree in Tamil/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/History /Geography/ Computer Science or a Post- Graduate degree in Economics/Commerce/Home Science.
with
ii) Teaching Experience
At least 2 years of teaching experience serving in Schools in Tamil Nadu (Nursery/ Primary/ Secondary/ Higher Secondary/ Matriculation Schools) recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu / Government of India alone are eligible to apply. AND, admission will be done based on the score obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Examination conducted by the TNOU all over Tamil Nadu.

The filled-in application form for Entrance Examination should be mailed in the TNOU’s printed cover with the Acknowledgement Card affixed with a postage of Rs.6/- to: The Secretary, B.Ed. Entrance Examination, Tamil Nadu Open University, Tamil Nadu Open University, 577, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 015 on or before 19.09.2011.
Filled-in applications shall be enclosed with a DD for Rs.200/- against registration fee and Rs.100/- towards postal fee, drawn in favour of The Secretary, B.Ed. Entrance Examination, Tamil Nadu Open University, payable at Chennai.
