Dr Kalayya Krishnamurthy National Award
Applications are invited by University of Agricultural Sciences in the prescribed format for the award of “Dr.Kalayya Krishnamurthy National Award” for Best Agricultural Research during the year 2010-11.
The award will be presented on the occasion of Foundation Day of UAS, Bangalore, to be held on October 8th, 2011.
Eligibility:
The award is open to all the Agricultural Scientists (Agri/ Hort./ Fisheries/ Home Science and Animal Science) working in any Agricultural University or Government Department or Private or Public Institutions in India whose research or adoption of the New Technology generated thereof during 10 years preceding the date of this notification has resulted in enhanced Agricultural production and economic well-being of farmers.
Applicant must have attained a minimum age of 45 years and above at the time of notification.

The prescribed application format can be downloaded from the website www.uasbangalore.edu.in
The applicant fulfilling the eligibility criteria may submit seven copies of their bio-data and the statements about their work/ contribution (in the prescribed application form) indicating precisely the work carried out and its bearing on the agricultural production in the region/country.
Bio-data in the application format shall be sent through proper channel with recommendations of the constituent Institutional Head along with a Demand Draft for Rs 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) drawn in favour of the Comptroller, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore to the Director of Research & Member-Convener, University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore-560065 on or before 10-09-2011
