The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing course 2011 (regular).

Academic Qualification:

B.Sc.Nursing

OR

General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM) with one year experience as Staff Nurse

Upper age limit:

Upper age limit is 35 yrs as on 1st January 2011 for general merit candidates. Relaxation of five years in upper age limit will be given to all SC/ST candidates and 10 years to in-service candidates.

Eligibility for Admission:

1 The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

2 The candidate should possess RN/RM registration from Kerala Nurses & Midwives council.

3 Should be physically fit.

Application form completed online must be printed, duly signed, affixing self attested photographs on the space provided for along with all necessary enclosures and Demand Draft for Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) payable at State Bank of Travancore, Medical College Branch, Trivandrum or any of its service branches drawn in favour of The Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum should reach the Additional Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College Campus, Trivandrum-11 on or before 4pm on 28/09/2011.

The envelope containing the application should be super scribed as “Application for Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing Course 2011-12”

Certificates or Documents to be attached along with the application form.

1. Filled in application form

2 Demand draft

3 Self addressed stamped envelope of 25x16cm size for sending the admit card. The address should be clearly and neatly written in capital letters.

4. A certificate as in annexure1 (needed only in the case of sponsored candidates from Medical Education service).

5 Self attested copies of the following

(a) Mark list of the qualifying examination

(b) GNM Diploma /B.Sc Nursing Degree certificate

(c) Internship completion/experience certificate.

(d) Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council registration certificate.

(e ) Certificate proving nationality (pass port/Voter ID/PAN card/certificate from Tahasildar)

(f ) Certificate proving date of birth (SSLC Certificate/ pass port/Voter ID/PAN card/

(g ) Certificate proving caste, issued by a competent revenue officer, if the candidate is eligible for any communal reservation.
