National Institute of Immunology (NIl), Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi has invited applications for its PhD programme in the broad interdisciplinary areas -1) Chemical Biology 2) Genetics & Cell Signalling 3) Immunity & Infection 4) Molecular & Cellular Biology 5) Reproduction & Development 6) Structural & Computational Biology.
Minimum qualifications:
A. MSc in any branch of Science (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics) or MTech or MBBS or MVSc or MPharm or equivalent qualification
recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, is required.
B. First Division or equivalent grade or at least 60% of aggregate scores in all major examinations from Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) onwards is required.
C. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination this year may also apply; they will be admitted provisionally pending satisfactory fulfilment of the above requirements at the time of joining.
D. Reservations of seats: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC & 3% for physically handicapped are as per statutory norms.

Applications can be sent online at www.nii.res.in or should be typed / Handwritten in Capital Letters on A4-size plain paper in the prescribed format available on the website www.nii.res.in
Completed applications must be accompanied with the crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- of 6 months validity in favour of 'Director, National Institute of Immunology', payable at Canara Bank, Jit Singh Marg, New Delhi. A Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- is acceptable from SC / ST candidates, provided relevant documentary proof is enclosed.
Two recent passport size PHOTOGRAPHS should be enclosed. One of these should be signed by the candidate and pasted on the application form.
