Online Applications have been invited by Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore for admission to Part time BE Courses of December 2011 session in the following streams:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Computer Science Engineering

Eligibility for Admission:
a) Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering / Technology in the relevant branch of specialization conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
b) Year of Qualifying for Diploma: Candidates who have passed the diploma examination in the relevant branch of specialization at least two years before the last date prescribed for submission of application
c) Only the candidates residing within 90Kms from the University are eligible to apply

Selection:
The selection of Candidates is based on the Percentage secured in their Diploma and Experience (Candidates who have passed the diploma examination in the relevant branch of specialization at least two years before the last date prescribed for submission of application.

The following original documents are to be produced at the time of counselling for admission, if called for:
i) First page of SSLC / 10th Standard or Matriculation Mark Sheet or its equivalent certificate.
ii) Mark Sheets of all semesters.
iii) Diploma Certificate / Provisional Certificate
iv) Certificate(s) of practical experience.
v) Permanent Community Certificate Card (other than OC Candidates).
vi) Conduct certificates (I) from the Head of the Educational Institution last attended and from the employer or responsible Officer of the Govt. or any responsible public person.
vii) Transfer certificate from the Educational Institution last attended.
viii) Present Employment certificate from head of the organization / institution
ix) No Objection certificate from head of the organization / institution
x) State bank of India Challan for application fee.
