Applications have been invited by Karpagam University, Coimbatore for admission to MPhil and PhD Courses of Academic Year 2011.
PhD - Eligibility:
The candidates possessing Master’s degree with 55% (50% in the case of SC / ST) of marks in the concerned or related discipline of Karpagam University or any other University recognized by Karpagam University / University Grants Commission (MHRD) as equivalent to, is eligible to register for Full-time / Part-time PhD. The candidates who have undergone 10 + 2 + 3 + 2 / 11 + 1 + 3 + 2 / 10 + 2 + 4 + 2 / 10 + 2 + 3 + 3 are eligible to register for MPhil / PhD Integrated PhD is available for professionals.
The candidates working in organizations (Industries, Research and Educational Institutions, etc.) other than Karpagam University are eligible to enroll for Part-Time PhD programme only.

The candidates who have undergone 10+2+3+2 /11+1+3+2 /10 + 2 + 3 + 3 are eligible to register for MPhil. The candidates working in organizations (Industries, Research and Educational Institutions, etc.,) other than Karpagam University are eligible to enroll for Part-time MPhil programme only.

Submission of Application:
Download the Hall ticket and ID Card formats, fill them and enclose along with the application. Filled in application along with attested Photostat copies of Certificate (DD for Rs.500/- in the case of downloaded application drawn in favour of Karpagam University, payable at Coimbatore or Rs.550/- in the case of receiving the application through post) may be sent to The Registrar, Karpagam University, Eachanari Post, Pollachi Main Road, Coimbatore -641 021, on or before 12-12-2011.
For Part Time Candidate, enclose a copy of No-objection Certificate to employer.
