INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2012
I. Minimum Eligibility: Masters Degree in
any discipline with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade. For SC/ST applicants
5% relaxation is given in the marks of qualifying examination. Students
appearing for the final year/semester of the qualifying examination and/or
awaiting results are also eligible to apply. But they should be able to produce
the final result of the qualifying examination by the time of admission to the
M Phil programme.
II. Mode of
Admission and Selection Criteria: Candidates will be admitted to this
programme on the basis of three yardsticks:

III. Duration
of the Programme:
Three Semesters of six months each.
IV. Design of the programme: In the first
semester all candidates will have to undertake a compulsory Course Work. No
extension in the time-frame to complete the MPhil programme is given under any
circumstances.
V. Number of Seats: 10 (Two extra
seats could be provided for candidates from foreign countries).
VI. Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC will
be as per Govt. of India Rules. Those who wish to be considered for reservation
should attach attested copies of caste/non-creamy layer certificate obtained
from a competent authority.
Interested
candidates may submit their application in the prescribed form (downloadable
from the website) along with a fee of Rs 300 DD drawn in favour of Finance
officer, Central University Kerala, payable at Kasargod on or before 21st September, 2012.
Send the filled
up application to the Controller of
Examinations, Central University of Kerala, Vidyanagar Po,
Kasargod,Kerala-PIN 671 123 so as to reach the office on or before 21/09/2012.
