ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2013-14

NIEPMD invites Applications from candidates for Admission to following Courses recognized by the RCI, Govt, of India for the Academic Year 2013-14.

Degree in Psychology (Full Time) from a Uni­versity recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate, preferably with special paper in Clini­cal Psychology. For SC/ST category, minimum 50% marks in aggregate is essential.
2.	B.Ed. Special Education (Multiple Disabilities)	1 Year	Rs. 500/-(Rs. 350/-for SC/ST/PH)	A Bachelor's Degree from an UGC approved University in any of the Secondary School subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 with minimum marks of (OC — 50%, BC - 45%, MBC/DNC - 43%, SC/ST - 40%) (OR) PG Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Po­litical Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an UGC approved University with minimum marks of 50%
3	PG Diploma in Early Intervention	1 Year		MBBS, BMR or BRS(MR), B.Ed, in Special Education, Bachelor's in OT, PT, BASLP, Master's in Child Psychol­ogy, Master's in Child Development with 50% aggregate marks and 40% marks for SC/ST Candidates. Age: Not exceeding 35 Years
4	PG Diploma in Developmental Therapy (MD: Physi­cal & Neurological)	1 Year& 3 Months		Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy etc. with 50% marks from the rec­ognized University
5	Diploma in Education — Special Education (Deaf Blindness)	2 Years	Rs. 300/-(Rs. 200/-for SC/ST/PH)	A Pass in 10+2/H.Sc/lntermediate with 50% of marks
6-	Diploma in Education —Special Education (Cerebral Palsy)	2 Years		A Pass in 10+2/H.Sc./lntermediate
7	Diploma in Education — Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorder)	2 Years

Last Date for Sale of & Submission of filled-in Application at NIEPMD — 25-09-2013 for all Courses

1. Govt, of India norms for Reservation of Seats will be followed for Diploma Courses and Govt, of Tamil Nadu norms will be followed for the B.Ed., P.G. Diploma and M.Phil Courses.

2. The Course will be offered subject to the response from the Candidates/ filling up half of the intake capacity of each.

3. The complete information on admission can be obtained in the Prospectus and also from the Institute's Website. The download application form duly filled in, shall be forwarded to The Director, NIEPMD along with the required application fee. Application without Demand Draft (for downloaded application only) and required copies of Cer­tificates will not be entertained.
