Admission to B. Pharmacy Programme at Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses from bright
students of 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Department of Pharmacy of
BITS Pilani, established in 1950, is one of the few early schools of
Pharmacy in India.
B. Pharm. program is o‑ered at
Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses of BITS Pilani.
Alumni of Pharmacy Department,
BITS Pilani are well placed in India as well as abroad in various pharmaceutical
companies, government organizations like drug control, research laboratories,
etc., and in several well known academic institutions.
The programme is an amalgamation
of foundation skills, pharmacy essentials, research, management andis highly exible
with an opportunity for electives, projects, vertical transfer to M. Pharmacy,
etc. It allows students to specialize in research, clinical pharmacy and
entrepreneurship.
Input Qualification
12th class examination of 10+2
system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics,Chemistry
and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy
program. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in
Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination,
with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics
subjects and adequate prociency in English.
Admissions will be made only on
his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2014.

register for BITSAT-2014 by applying in the prescribed application form at
. The prescribed fees for
BITSAT-2014 is Rs.1900/- (1400/- for female candidates). Options for payment of
fees are given at the website. The syllabus and other details of the BITSAT-2014
are available in the BITSAT-2014 Brochure which is also available at the
website.
Deadline
to register for BITSAT-2014 by lling the online form along with the prescribed
fee is 5.00 PM on 15th February 2014
